1. Forgetting Sarah Marhsall [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At no point does Forgetting Sarah Marshall become a bad movie, but it seems like a mediocre one. Indeed, it always feels like something that I should enjoy more than I do; its entertainment value just doesn’t hit the expected levels given the folks involved. Starring Jason Segel, Kristen Bell. Universal, $14.98, 9/30/2008.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At no point does Forgetting Sarah Marshall become a bad movie, but it seems like a mediocre one. Indeed, it always feels like something that I should enjoy more than I do; its entertainment value just doesn’t hit the expected levels given the folks involved ... I just don’t have a lot of positive sentiment for the movie itself. Starring Jason Segel, Kris

3. The Muppets [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Many viewed the prospect of The Muppets with trepidation, but fans needn’t have worried. It’s an enormous success, as it delights from beginning to end. The Blu-ray boasts excellent picture and audio as well as a pretty good collection of supplements, though the commentary isn’t as I’d hoped. If 2011 produced a movie more fun than The Muppets, I didn’t f

4. Freaks And Geeks: The Complete Series (Limited Edition Yearbook) (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I truly loved the LE, I just can’t recommend it to too many fans because of the price. $50 to $70 for a yearbook and two extra DVDs seems awfully steep. If the money doesn’t matter to you, go for the LE; you’ll be very happy with it. Otherwise, it seems tough to justify the extra expense for this undeniably excellent package. Created by Paul Feig.

5. End of the Tour, The [Blu-ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Parts of The End of the Tour work reasonably well, but too much of the movie seems vague and sluggish. Although it wants to be deep and insightful, instead it just comes across as lackluster. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Segel. Lionsgate, $24.99, 11/3/2015.

6. I Love You, Man [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite the tapped out nature of this kind of guy-based comedy, I Love You, Man keeps us interested. The movie doesn’t reinvent any wheels, but it boasts a nice cast and proves to be amusing and enjoyable. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, acceptable audio and a nice collection of supplements. This is a nice release for an entertaining film. Starring

7. Dispatches From Elsewhere: Season One [Blu-Ray] (2020)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Placed in the wrong hands, Dispatches from Elsewhere could become insufferable due to its pretensions, and occasionally it crosses that line. However, most of the series feels engaging and intriguing. Starring Jason Segel, Eve Lindley. RLJ Entertainment, $44.99, 8/4/2020.

8. Freaks And Geeks: The Complete Series [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In the annals of late, great lost TV treasures, Freaks and Geeks might go down as the best. Impeccably acted, tightly written and directed, and terrifically entertaining, the series died before its time. Starring Linda Cardellini, James Franco. Shout Factory, $79.99, 3/22/2016.
