31. Tangled [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a “princess fairy tale”, Tangled provides reasonable entertainment. However, it seems rather derivative and lacks a certain quality that would make it special; it delivers a likable but not especially memorable adventure. The Blu-ray comes with good picture and audio as well as a handful of fairly interesting supplements. You can do worse than Tangled

32. The Hangover: Extreme Edition [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans who already own the original Blu-ray shouldn’t expect this 2010 “Extreme Edition” to give them reason to double dip; it’s the same disc with two minor new extras. If you don’t have the first release, I’d still steer you away from the “Extreme Edition” due to pricing. The original Blu-ray lists for $11 less than the “Extreme Edition”, and I don’t thi

33. Mr. Popper's Penguins [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Look up the definition of “passable family entertainment” and you’ll probably find a picture of Mr. Popper’s Penguins. It comes across as wholly tolerable and occasionally enjoyable but never remotely inspired. The Blu-ray gives us excellent picture as well as pretty good supplements and audio. This is a decent flick that never leaps to a higher level. S

34. The Hangover: Part II [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With $254 million in US grosses, The Hangover Part II seems likely to spawn The Hangover Part III. I can’t say I look forward to that event, but I don’t dread it either, as Part II continues the franchise in a reasonably satisfying manner. The Blu-ray provides very good picture and audio along with a handful of decent supplements. It’s a bit disappointin

35. The Hangover: Unrated Special Edition (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably the biggest sleeper hit of 2009, The Hangover turned into a monster smash and the biggest-grossing “R”-rated comedy of all-time. That doesn’t make it the funniest, though. The film boasts sporadic laughs but never becomes especially amusing. The DVD provides mediocre visuals, fairly good audio, and a decent roster of supplements. Neither the mov

36. Phil Collins: Finally ... The First Farewell Tour (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Will his “First Final Farewell Tour” really stand as Phil Collins’ goodbye to the concert stage? That remains to be seen. I hope not, for he still exhibits a good stage presence and the ability to entertain. Finally offers a solid show, with a nice career overview of songs played well. Starring Phil Collins. WEA, $29.99, 1/25/2005.
