11. Appaloosa (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ed Harris delivers a scattered, disjointed Western via Appaloosa. At times the movie feels like a “greatest hits” reel, as it combines hints of other flicks into one unsatisfying whole ... Appaloosa fails to become a memorable movie, as it brings nothing new or particularly interesting to its genre. Starring Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen. New Line, $28.98,

12. Eragon: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you feel like you’ve seen Eragon before, that’s because it borrows so liberally from other superior offerings. The movie takes fistfuls of elements found in better flicks and renders them impotent in this generic, dumbed-down fantasy tale. Starring Edward Speleers, Jeremy Irons. Fox, $34.98, 3/20/2007.

13. Kingdom Of Heaven: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Across the board, the Director's Cut of Heaven earns my recommendation. The extended version of the film becomes a quality flick, and the package presents it in a terrific manner. Starring Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson. Fox, $24.99, 10/7/2014.

14. The Man Who Knew Infinity [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a biopic, The Man Who Knew Infinity provides a perfectly watchable effort but no more than that. Though it gives us an interesting subject, it never manages to seem especially involving or dramatic. Starring Dev Patel, Jeremy Irons. Paramount, $39.99, 8/23/2016.

15. Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a film, Die Hard With A Vengeance offers a fine action experience. My early concerns with it have largely dissipated, and I now find it to be a fun and thrilling piece of work. Though it offered excellent audio, the DVD suffered from dreadful visual quality and superficial extras. I like the movie, but this is a bad DVD. Starring Bruce Willis, Samuel

16. Assassin's Creed [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Any hopes that Assassin’s Creed would launch a cinematic franchise seem stillborn, as the movie flopped commercially. I can’t mourn its instantaneous death, as the film offers a dull, meandering affair that wastes the ample talent involved. Starring Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard. Fox, $39.99, 3/21/2017.

17. Die Hard With A Vengeance: The Die Hard Collection - 2007 (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: To be certain, I continue to really like Die Hard With A Vengeance. Actually, after some initial dissatisfaction with the movie, I’ve come to think it’s a fine piece of work; my enjoyment of it seems to increase with every addition screening. Unfortunately, this DVD release of it doesn’t mark the “ultimate” visual execution of the film. Starring Bruce Wi

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Now best-known as Leonardo DiCaprio’s first film released after Titanic, The Man In the Iron Mask delivers a bland affair. Even with dollops of action and intrigue, the film can’t provide any real excitement or drama. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons. MGM, $9.98, 8/11/1998.

20. House of Gucci [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Ridley Scott behind the camera and multiple stars in front of it, House of Gucci promised a high-quality affair. Unfortunately, the final product lacks consistency and never becomes especially coherent or compelling. Starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver. Universal, $34.98, 2/22/2022.
