21. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks trite at the start but it soon blossoms into something creative and involving. The movie doesn’t take too many predictable paths as it follows an unusual path to communicate the complications of relationships. Starring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet. Universal, $29.98, 9/28/2004.

23. The Truman Show: Special Edition (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Truman Show stretches its clever premise to the breaking point. It presents a wholly unbelievable situation and never makes us accept this as reality, but it’s so darned entertaining that I forgive it. Starring Jim Carrey, Ed Harris. Paramount, $14.98, 8/23/2005.

24. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind: Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I recommended the first release of Mind and endorse this one as well - if you don’t already have the prior edition. It presents everything from the initial set plus some substantial new components. However, if you already own the original set, I find it hard to push you to double-dip. It includes a few nice elements but not enough to merit a repurchase.

26. Horton Hears A Who!: Special Edition (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a few crummy Dr. Seuss adaptations, I had low expectations for 2008’s Horton Hears a Who!. Happily, the flick proved to be pretty entertaining. It remained reasonably true to its source and provided a nice piece of entertainment. The Blu-ray offered excellent picture and very good audio along with a mix of fairly interesting extras. I like this amu

27. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Deluxe Edition [Blu-Ray] (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A big hit back in 2000, I suspect someone out there views Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas as a classic, but I can’t imagine why. Crass, unfunny and irritating, the film flops. Starring Jim Carrey, Jeffrey Tambor. Universal, $22.98, 10/17/2017.

29. Fun With Dick And Jane (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This 2005 remake of Fun with Dick and Jane makes me curious to watch the original 1977 version. That’s not because I enjoyed the new one; instead, I’m interested to see if the first edition was as lame as this one. The 2005 Fun has some decent moments, but overall it comes across as unfunny and without much cleverness. Starring Jim Carrey, Téa Leoni. Son

30. Batman Forever [4K UHD] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Batman Forever is about as mediocre as a Batman flick could be. It has some interesting moments, and most of the actors do their best, but after the thrills of the two Tim Burton-directed affairs, this Joel Schumacher effort comes across as all style and little substance. Starring Val Kilmer, Jim Carrey. Warner, $41.99, 6/4/2019.
