31. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In regard to the Blu-ray, it presented erratic but acceptable picture and very good sound but it disappointed terribly when it came to supplements. I’d still recommend Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to fans or anyone who thinks they might enjoy this kind of light fantasy, as the presentation of the film was pretty good. However, the mediocre quali

32. The World Is Not Enough [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I can't recommend Enough for anyone who hasn't picked up better Bond flicks like Goldfinger or Licence to Kill. Still, it’s a title that’ll appeal to Bond fans, and the Blu-ray offers a decent upgrade for those who own the prior Ultimate Edition DVD. The Blu-ray won’t blow them away, but it shows improvements. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Denise Richards. M

33. The World Is Not Enough: Ultimate Edition (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The World Is Not Enough will never be mistaken for one of the best Bond films, and I can't even assert that it's average. Nonetheless, despite some faults - mainly a blandness that seems inescapable - I liked Enough. Even when Bond is average, he's still fun. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau. Fox, $89.98, 11/7/2006.

34. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Ultimate Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the DVD, both picture and sound quality seemed very solid. Neither reached demonstration level, but both satisfied nicely. Supplements offered a decent mix of interesting elements. I suspect that most fans will be happy with the prior DVD of Chamber, but Potter die-hards will want to snag the “Ultimate Edition”. At $39.92, it’s not horribly pricey

35. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I’m not a part of the Potter cult, I thought the film explained the territory efficiently and entertainingly and accomplished most of its goals.

36. Time Bandits: Criterion Collection [4K UHD] (1981)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I find fault with the film, I enjoy Time Bandits enough that the movie comes recommended. It sags at around the mid-point, but it still packs more than enough lively and amusing material to merit a look. Starring Craig Warnock, David Rappaport. Criterion, $49.95, 6/13/2023.

37. Silverado: Collector's Edition (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Silverado is a fun and compelling movie that can go astray at times but offers enough consistently good thrills to warrant repeated viewings. Starring Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn. Columbia TriStar, $24.95, 8/17/1999.

38. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein [4K UHD] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein hews closer to the source novel than its cinematic predecessors, it never finds a real beating heart. Despite all sorts of talent in front of and behind the camera, this becomes a strangely turgid exploration of the tale. Starring Robert De Niro, Kenneth Branagh. Arrow, $49.95, 4/12/22.
