- 111. The Tigger Movie [Blu-Ray] (2000)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it doesn’t qualify as one of Disney's all-time great films, The Tigger Movie is more "success" than "failure". It never attempts to be anything other than a cute little story about the real nature of family, and it provides a moderately endearing program. The Blu-ray presents strong picture and audio as well as a smattering of supplements. This isn

- 112. Watership Down: Deluxe Edition (1978)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans will definitely want to pursue this 2008 “Deluxe Edition” instead of the original bare-bones effort. While the DE’s extras aren’t extensive, they add some value to the set. The prime attraction of the DE comes from the significant visual improvements, as the new disc offers noticeably stronger picture quality. That makes it a worthwhile “double dip”

- 113. Watership Down (1978)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the classic I remembered from childhood, Watership Down remains a reasonably compelling film. It suffers from the problems that almost automatically occur when one translates a long text into a short movie, and the animation seems fairly weak. However, the flick offers something unique and worthwhile and achieves many of its goals. Written by R

- 114. Penguins of Madagascar [Blu-Ray] (2014)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a spotlight for minor Madagascar characters, Penguins of Madagascar offers intermittent entertainment and no more. While it keeps us moderately amused, it feels inconsistent and less than fulfilling. Starring Tom McGrath, Chris Miller. Fox, $17.99, 3/17/2015.

- 115. Burn After Reading (2008)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the drama of their Oscar-winning No Country For Old Men, the Coen brothers take a lighter touch with Burn After Reading - “lighter” being a relative term, of course, since the Coens stick with their particular brand of dark comedy. The movie delivers moderate charms but ultimately disappoints. While it boasts a great cast and creates intrigue in it

- 116. The Mummy: Deluxe Edition (1999)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Many years down the road, I continue to enjoy 1999’s The Mummy. While it reinvents no wheels, it delivers a fun, action-packed adventure. Starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz. Universal, $19.98, 7/8/2008.

- 117. Sisters [Blu-Ray] (2015)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Because Tina Fey and Amy Poehler could make the proverbial reading of the phone book funny, Sisters boasts a reasonable array of laughs. However, it seems less satisfying than I’d like, mainly because it suffers from an over-extended running time. Starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler. Universal, $34.98, 3/15/2016.

- 118. Home Alone (1990)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I didn’t like Home Alone, I won’t call it a terrible movie. However, it was a somewhat uninspired offering that earned its popularity via a few harsh slapstick scenes. Starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci. Fox, $29.98, 10/5/1999.

- 119. F9: The Fast Saga [4K UHD] (2021)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 20 years into the franchise and F9: The Fast Saga runs on fumes. With a muddled, confused plot, it relies on absurd action to entertain, but it becomes too idiotic and ridiculous to succeed. Starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez. Universal, $49.98, 9/21/2021.

- 120. The Black Cauldron: 25th Anniversary (1985)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it's a flawed film, The Black Cauldron warrants a look because of the unusual nature of the project. Ultimately it may have been a failed experiment, but it's an interesting one nonetheless. The DVD offers very good picture sound and a minor complement of extras. The Black Cauldron remains an erratic movie, but at least this DVD serves it fairl
