151. The Lego Ninjago Movie [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans of prior Lego flicks will know what to get from The Lego Ninjago Movie. While it works a bit better than its predecessors and offers reasonable entertainment, it can still feel like déjà vu. Starring Dave Franco, Justin Theroux. Warner, $24.99, 12/26/2017.

152. Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures) [Blu
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 19 years out of cinemas, could the return of Indiana Jones live up to expectations? I think it could have done so, but it didn’t. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull provides an amiable and occasionally exciting affair, but it’s not one that matches up particularly well with its three predecessors. Though it shows periodic signs of

153. Untraceable (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wanted to like Untraceable, as I enjoy the serial killer genre. It serves as a sub-standard entry in that field, though. It borrows liberally from superior predecessors and insults the audience with its relentless stupidity ... There’s nothing wrong with this release, but the movie itself is a major disappointment. Starring Diane Lane, Billy Burke. Son

154. Immortals [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Essentially a combination of 300 and Clash of the Titans, Immortals boasts impressive visuals but not as strong an emphasis on story and characters as I’d like. While it’s not a bad effort and can deliver some vivid action, it usually favors style over substance and lacks the desired impact. The Blu-ray provides generally excellent picture along with ver

155. Heaven's Gate: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1980)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does Heaven’s Gate deserve the intensely negative reputation its endured for the last 32 years? No – at least not in its 216-minute cut, a version that substantially alters the 149-minute edition that hit theaters in 1980. However, the movie doesn’t prompt consideration as a lost classic, either; while it has potential for greatness, Gate only sporadical

156. The Missing: Extended Cut (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you liked The Missing and never bought one of the prior releases, grab the original 2-DVD version. If you already have that one, don’t bother to shell out the bucks for the “Extended Cut”. The elongated edition of the film makes it worse, and the only new supplement – Ron Howard’s commentary – isn’t very good. Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Cate Blanchett.

157. The Tigger Movie: 10th Anniversary Edition (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I doubt that fans who own the original 2000 DVD will feel a need to upgrade to the 10th Anniversary set, though. I think both probably offer similar picture and audio, and the new release does little to improve the supplements found on the 2000 release. This is a decent package but not worth a double dip. Disney, $29.99, 8/4/2009.

158. Million Dollar Baby [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Maybe I'll watch Million Dollar Baby again someday and decide I was totally wrong - it's happened. But based on my three screenings, I scratch my head about all the praise for this simplistic, obvious and heavy-handed flick. The Blu-ray delivers good audio along with mediocre visuals and bonus materials. Neither the Blu-ray nor the movie impress. Starrin

159. Real Steel [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At no point does Real Steel threaten to become a memorable cinematic experience, but it does enough right to create quality entertainment. While it follows a resolutely predictable path, it still manages to bring us with it and spur us to cheer even when we understand how hokey and cheesy it should be. The Blu-ray delivers terrific picture and audio alon

160. Hellboy [4K UHD] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A lively and well-executed comic book movie, Hellboy occasionally falters but it offers many more positives than negatives. The 4K UHD becomes the definitive release of the film. Starring Ron Perlman, Selma Blair. Sony, $30.99, 10/15/2019.
