- 112. The Italian Job: Special Collector's Edition (2003)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times The Italian Job feels a little more generic than I’d like, but it proves generally satisfying anyway. The movie tosses out enough intriguing elements to make it a light and lively adventure that doesn’t tread any new ground but comes across as entertaining nonetheless. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron. Paramount, $29.99, 10/7/2003.

- 114. Rambo: First Blood Part II (Ultimate Edition) (1985)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Rambo: First Blood Part II stands as one of those time capsule movies; when asked to define pop culture in the Eighties, it must come up in any discussions. However, that doesn’t actually make it a good movie. Rambo lacks the depth and heart to make it a success, as it mostly just runs up a big body count ... Note that this “Ultimate Edition” DVD of Ramb

- 115. The Missing: Extended Cut (2003)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you liked The Missing and never bought one of the prior releases, grab the original 2-DVD version. If you already have that one, don’t bother to shell out the bucks for the “Extended Cut”. The elongated edition of the film makes it worse, and the only new supplement – Ron Howard’s commentary – isn’t very good. Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Cate Blanchett.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A memorable occasion for all involved, The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert offered a good remembrance for a popular singer. More than a decade after it occurred, the video provides a solid representation of the event, and it continues to demonstrate a pretty positive collection of performances. The Blu-ray offers erratic but acceptable picture and audio

- 117. Halloween: Unrated Director's Cut [Blu-Ray] (2007)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Because I’ve enjoyed other remakes of horror classics, I thought the 2007 Halloween could’ve been good. However, the movie totally discards everything that made the original so enjoyable and just becomes a tedious mess. Starring Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton. Weinstein Company, $24.95, 10/21/2008.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Frighteners provides an erratic flick but a generally entertaining one. While it doesn’t compare to Jackson’s better-known efforts, it has more than enough good moments to make it enjoyable. The Blu-ray offers generally good but flawed picture and audio along with an excellent set of extras. I’m not happy with some of the Blu-ray’s problems, but it s
