41. Frosty The Snowman (Deluxe Edition) [Blu-Ray] (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Frosty the Snowman endures as one of the more popular Christmas specials, but it is not one of the best. It moves briskly and has some good moments, but it suffers from a number of flaws that make it only moderately above average. Starring Jimmy Durante. Universal, $16.98, 10/16/2018.

42. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (Deluxe Edition) [Blu-Ray] (1970)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I cannot call Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town one of the best Rankin/Bass Christmas specials, as it plays things too safe and cutesy to really excel. Nonetheless, it becomes perfectly enjoyable and pleasant. Starring Fred Astaire, Mickey Rooney. Classic Media, $16.98, 10/16/2018.

43. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer (Deluxe Edition) [Blu-Ray] (1964)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably the best Christmas special of them all, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer remains a lot of fun. It delivers its message in lively manner, with appropriate anger and a lot of quirky humor. Starring Burl Ives, Billie Mae Richards. Universal, $16.98, 10/16/2018.

44. John Carter [Blu-Ray 3D] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: John Carter leaves me tempted to write a three-word review: it is okay. Which it is, as the movie consistently offers a perfectly decent sci-fi adventure. Unfortunately, I prefer movies that provoke greater enthusiasm than a general shrug, so I cannot offer much of an endorsement here. Starring Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins. Disney, $39.99, 6/5/2012.

45. Brother's Justice [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A misbegotten attempt at a mockumentary, Brother’s Justice provides the worst kind of vanity project. Self-indulgent to an extreme, it lacks much cleverness or wit and instead offers a slow, dull, poorly made piece of nonsense. The Blu-ray delivers decent picture, audio and supplements. I can’t imagine anyone to whom I would recommend this lifeless stink

46. The Wolf of Wall Street [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For a while, The Wolf of Wall Street packs a punch and gives us an entertaining experience. However, it comes saddled with an excessive running time that causes it to run out of steam well before it finally ends. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill. Paramount, $39.99, 3/25/2014.

47. Avengers: Infinity War [4K UHD] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With an enormous cast of characters, Avengers: Infinity War provides a truly epic adventure. While it offers excitement, it needs to satisfy so many roles that it can seem superficial, and its existence as the first of a two-part series makes it feel incomplete. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt. Disney, $39.99, 8/14/2018.

48. Avengers: Endgame [4K UHD] (2019)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 11 years and nearly two dozen movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe concludes a long journey via the effective Avengers: Endgame. Exciting, dramatic and emotional, the film finishes this extended narrative on a positive note. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans. Disney, $39.99, 8/13/2019.

49. Iron Man 3 [4K UHD]
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the disappointing Iron Man 2, the franchise rebounds with the fun, exciting Iron Man 3. Buoyed by a higher level of drama and the addition of Ben Kingsley to the cast, 3 might be the best of the Iron Man films. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow. Disney, $39.99, 8/13/2019.
