31. Doogal (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I went into Doogal, I expected a wholly terrible movie. Although it wasn’t atrocious, it certainly wasn’t good. The film was little more than a loose framework for random gags. Starring Daniel Tay, Jimmy Fallon. Weinstein Company, $28.95, 5/16/2006.

32. Home On The Range [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Home on the Range doesn’t represent a strong moment for the studio. It seems tepid and without much pep to make it entertaining. The Blu-ray offers excellent picture, very good audio and a fairly nice set of supplements. Unfortunately, the movie itself is average and best left for Disney diehards. Starring G.W. Bailey, Roseanne. Disney, $29.99, 7/3/2012.

33. GoldenEye [Blu-Ray] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a six-year break, 1995’s GoldenEye brought the Bond franchise back to prominence. 24 years later, it remains a fun and inviting adventure. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean. MGM, $14.98, 9/15/2015.

34. Casino Royale [Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Bond franchise took a darker path with 2006’s Casino Royale. It commits to a harsher reality and turns into one of the series’ most satisfying entries. Starring Daniel Craig, Eva Green. MGM, $14.98, 9/15/2015.

35. Hamlet [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I admire the ambition of this four-hour Hamlet, the end result does little for me. The movie suffers from some over the top performances – primarily our lead – and fails to become an accessible, engaging version of the tale. The Blu-ray boasts very good picture along with decent audio and supplements highlighted by an informative commentary. S

36. Casino Royale [4K UHD] (2006)

37. Tomorrow Never Dies [Blu-Ray] (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In 1997, Tomorrow Never Dies left me a little cold, but I’ve come to better enjoy some of its charms over the years. It doesn’t provide the spark found in the best Bond flicks, but it works pretty nicely on its own. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce. MGM, $14.98, 9/15/2015.

38. Tomorrow Never Dies: Ultimate Edition (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should folks who already own the prior release pursue this Ultimate Edition? I think so. Audio remains the same for both, but this one offers noticeably improved visuals plus a few tasty new extras. This is yet another worthwhile upgrade for Bond fans. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce. MGM, $89.98, 12/12/2006.

39. The World Is Not Enough (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The World Is Not Enough will never be mistaken for one of the best Bond films, and I can't even assert that it's average. Nonetheless, despite some faults - mainly a blandness that seems inescapable - I liked Enough. Even when Bond is average, he's still fun. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau. Fox, $34.98, 5/16/2000.

40. Pride & Prejudice [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A chick flick that seems easily digested by the male of the species, Pride & Prejudice succeeds because it eschews the usual tired cliches of the genre but still maintains its identity. Anchored by rich, dimensional characters and an admirable sense of both period and restraint, the film works surprisingly well. Starring Keira Knightley, Talulah Riley. F
