161. Death At A Funeral (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Death at a Funeral doesn’t fire on all cylinders, but it delivers a pretty good dark comedy. It uses a common social setting to nice effect and delivers an amusing experience. The DVD provides acceptable picture, mediocre audio and a couple of audio commentaries. This is a decent release for an entertaining flick. Starring Matthew Macfadyen, Keeley Hawes

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I know that it maintains a prominent status in the history of science-fiction flicks. However, nearly 70 years down the road, The War of the Worlds does not offer much entertainment for modern audiences. Starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson. Paramount, $39.99, 9/27/2022.

163. The Karate Kid [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Like many people, I expected the worst from the 2010 Karate Kid remake. However, the end result comes as a pleasant surprise. While not without flaws, this version boasts enough charm and entertainment to make it satisfying. The Blu-ray provides very good picture, satisfying audio, and a decent set of supplements. I’d like more bonus materials, but over

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As one far from its target demographic, I expected little from Twilight. However, it turned out to be a pretty interesting flick, and to my surprise, its weakest parts came from those I thought I would like the best. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson. 165. The Great Debaters: Collector's Edition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I appreciate the effort behind The Great Debaters, but the end result leaves me cold. 169. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 2010’s Eclipse keeps the Twilight train a-rolling, as the franchise continues to earn megabucks at the box office. I’m sure this flick will delight established fans of the series, but I don’t think it’ll do much for less dedicated partisans. The Blu-ray provides very good picture and audio along with a mostly strong collection of supplements; only a mean
