11. Keeper Of The Flame (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 1942’s Keeper of the Flame was the second Tracy/Hepburn effort, and it stands out as atypical for the pair. Alas, that doesn’t make it good; while it’s certainly not a bad movie, it seems clunky and only occasionally involving. The DVD provides acceptable picture and audio but lacks substantial supplements. Flame is worth a look as a curiosity but don’t

12. Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (1967)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I understand the message of social tolerance promoted in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, but I can’t be the only viewer who found the methods used to be forced and illogical. The movie remains compelling due to a number of fine performances, but the entire piece can’t quite overcome the lack of common sense found in its tale ... This is a mediocre release.

13. Woman of the Year (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As the first film to pair Katharine Hepburn with Spencer Tracy, 1942’s Woman of the Year boasts a special place in cinema history. Unfortunately, it seems lackluster as a film, for it fails to create interesting characters or entertaining situations. Starring Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy. Warner, $14.99, 9/19/2000.

14. Pat and Mike [Blu-Ray] (1952)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Due to the talents of its legendary stars, Pat and Mike becomes a reasonably likable romantic comedy. While it meanders at times, it offers enough charm to work most of the time. Starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn. Warner, $21.99, 8/25/2020.

15. The Philadelphia Story (1940)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: The Philadelphia Story (1940) Studio Line: Warner Bros. Here comes the bride! And the ex-husband. And a gossip-rag columnist on assignment. Here come Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and James Stewart in a peerless...

16. Bringing Up Baby: Special Edition (1938)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably the best-realized example of the “screwball comedy”, Bringing Up Baby beats us into submission with its relentless procession of insanity. The movie easily could have gone sour, but it works quite well, as the combination of bright dialogue and peppy performances makes it a winner. Starring Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant. Warner, $26.99, 3/1/2005

17. Desk Set: Fox Studio Classics (1957)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An unassuming but entertaining romantic comedy, Desk Set never aspires to much, but it succeeds nonetheless. The movie gains from the charm of its cast and also benefits from a lack of pretension. Starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn. Fox, $14.98, 5/4/2004.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An unassuming but entertaining romantic comedy, Desk Set never aspires to much, but it succeeds nonetheless. The movie gains from the charm of its cast and also benefits from a lack of pretension. The Blu-ray delivers generally good picture and audio along with an average audio commentary. The disc could use more supplements, but it offers the best prese

19. The Aviator [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I find it hard to point out any true flaws in The Aviator, but outside of some performances, I can’t discover too many standout elements. After more than 30 years as a filmmaker, perhaps it’s surprising that Scorsese can still deliver at that high a level; he probably should have burned out by now. But I admit I expect more, so I see Aviator as a good m
