171. Underworld: Unrated Extended Cut [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though Underworld enjoys a terrific concept, it largely squanders its potential. The movie looks good but presents very little excitement or real intrigue. Starring Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman. Sony, $14.99, 9/25/2007.

172. Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby (Unrated) (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should fans go for the theatrical edition of Nights or this extended cut? Iíd recommend the latter. The longer version of the film is a little more amusing, and the DVD provides superior extras. Both are good releases, but this oneís just a little better. Starring Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly. Sony, $28.95, 12/12/2006.

173. Django Unchained [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Quentin Tarantino reminded us of his genius with Inglourious Basterds in 2009 and he continues that revival via 2012ís Django Unchained. The movie comes with minor flaws but delivers a powerful, exciting adventure that capitalizes on its directorís cinematic talents. The Blu-ray presents very good picture and audio but lacks substantial supplements. The

175. Remember The Titans [Blu-Ray] (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Remember the Titans reinvents no wheels, it proves to be a spirited and energetic look at integration and race relations in the early Seventies. Some misrepresentations of my home area put me off, but even so, I think the movie becomes fun and compelling. Starring Denzel Washington, Will Patton. Disney, $14.99, 9/6/2007.

176. Help!: The Beatles (Special Edition) (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Help! hasn't aged quite as well as A Hard Day's Night, but it still offers some solid entertainment for Beatles fans. For all of its faults, it remains a fun film that gives us a not-so-candid look at a great band in their prime ... Iíd like more extensive supplements, but the movie looks and sounds better than ever. Starring The Beatles. Capitol, $29.98

178. How The West Was Won: Special Edition (1962)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As one of only two narrative flicks shot with the three-panel Cinerama process, How the West Was Won merits a special place in history. That doesnít make it a particularly engaging film, however. It always looks great, but it fails to present especially involving characters or story ... This is an impressive release. Warner, $20.98, 9/9/2008.

180. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As the second chapter in a trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug does fairly well for itself. Though the tale can drag and feel padded at times, it still packs enough adventure and drama to make it an enjoyable experience. Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman. New Line, $19.98, 4/8/2014.
