Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Self-indulgent and formless, Nasty Baby delivers a boring experience. The movie simply ambles along without purpose for 101 minutes and never becomes anything even vaguely interesting or intriguing. Starring Sebastian Silva, Kristen Wiig. Sony, $26.99, 12/22/2015.

3. Bridesmaids [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Bridesmaids proves that “chick flicks” can be raunchy, too. While it lacks the general crudeness of male-oriented siblings like The Hangover, Bridesmaids does give us something different. It’s too long and too sentimental, but thanks to a great cast and some clever writing, it’s funny enough to succeed. Starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph. Universal, $9.

4. Ghostbusters [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ignore all the negative hype about 2016’s Ghostbusters reboot and you’ll find an enjoyable film. A nice mix of action, comedy and horror, the movie may not match with its predecessor but it succeeds in its own right. Starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy. Sony, $19.99, 10/11/2016.

7. The Spoils Before Dying (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a parody of film noir, The Spoils Before Dying works reasonably well. While the miniseries never fires on all cylinders, it creates a fairly amusing experience. Starring Michael Kenneth Williams, Kristen Wiig. Anchor Bay, $24.98, 6/7/2016.

8. Adventureland [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I went into Adventureland with high hopes for a satisfying “coming of age” piece. Unfortunately, the film takes itself way too seriously, and it suffers from such a severe lack of energy that it makes its 107-minute running time feel much, much longer. The Blu-ray boasts very good picture but offers mediocre audio. Although not packed with extras, the co

9. Friends With Kids [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it never manages to become anything truly special, Friends with Kids has enough going for it to become satisfying. It delivers a quirky look at relationships that comes with reasonable wit and charm. The Blu-ray provides very good picture, adequate audio and a fairly positive package of bonus materials. This winds up as a quality Blu-ray for an int

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its innocent-sounding title, The Diary of a Teenage Girl brings a tale of sex and debauchery. The film suffers from some missteps but does enough right to keep the viewer with it. Starring Bel Powley, Alexander Skarsgard. Sony, $34.99, 1/19/2016.
