21. Elf: infinifilm (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... the movie provides a surprisingly charming experience with more than a few laugh-out-loud moments. It’s a rare flick that’s nice and gentle enough for the kids but also funny and clever enough for the adults. Starring Will Ferrell, James Caan. New Line, $29.95, 11/16/2004.

22. Elf: Ultimate Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This is a fun film, but I’m not wild about its treatment on Blu-ray – and I’m even less excited about the Ultimate Edition. The Blu-ray costs $29 on its own, while the UE lists for $50. If that extra $21 brought some quality materials with it, I’d be happy to recommend the set. However, I just can’t do that; some of the UE’s trinkets are fun, but they’re

23. A Clockwork Orange [Blu-Ray] (1971)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 40 years, A Clockwork Orange remains an amazing and powerful film. I continue to feel wholeheartedly that it was easily Stanley Kubrick’s best work. The Blu-ray offers good picture, audio and extras. I’m not sure that this is a substantial upgrade over the Special Edition DVD, but if you don’t own that one, go for this Blu-ray release. Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 36 years, A Clockwork Orange remains an amazing and powerful film. I continue to feel wholeheartedly that it was easily Stanley Kubrick’s best work. The DVD offers very good picture, audio and extras. This is the best DVD representation of my favorite Kubrick flick, and I think it’s a very worthwhile purchase. 26. The Proposal [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Why did The Proposal become a major hit? I have no idea. While not an unpleasant experience, it lacks anything to make it rise above its romantic comedy roots. The Blu-ray offers very good picture, decent audio and a few interesting supplements. This is by the numbers mediocrity. Starring Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds. Touchstone, $44.99, 10/13/2009.

30. The Brave One (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While The Brave One doesn’t exactly reinvent the vengeful vigilante genre, it provides a few neat twists and entertains along the way.
