51. The Peanuts Movie [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I admire the source material, I can’t get too excited about The Peanuts Movie. Though the film comes with some charms and has a sweet nature, it simply lacks much creativity or inventiveness. Starring Noah Schnapp, Alex Garland. Fox, $39.99, 3/8/2016.

52. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With every new Tim Burton movie, I hope he’ll recapture his prior greatness. Alas, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children offers another disappointment, as the movie never becomes anything especially involving or entertaining. Starring Eva Green, Asa Butterfield. Fox, $39.99, 12/13/2016.

53. Fantastic Four [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Much-maligned, Fantastic Four offers a substantially stronger experience than all those bad reviews indicate. While not a great superhero adventure, I think it works pretty well and delivers good entertainment. Starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara. Fox, $39.99, 12/15/2015.

54. Epic [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Epic, we get a competent animated adventure. The movie does enough to keep us with it, but it fails to find its own personality. The Blu-ray provides good picture, excellent audio and a handful of moderately informative extras. I like the film but not enough to give it a strong endorsement. Starring Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson. Fox, $39.99, 8/20/

55. Wrong Turn 2: Dead End [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Direct-to-video sequels usually aren’t any good, but Wrong Turn 2: Dead End manages to provide serviceable entertainment – for fans of graphic horror, at least. The movie does nothing to dazzle but it hits the right grotesque notes and provides decent thrills. The Blu-ray gives us erratic but usually good visuals along with positive audio and interesting

56. Murder on the Orient Express [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A strong cast adds life to Murder on the Orient Express, but the end product comes across as too somber. The film lacks much to make its inherent mystery compelling, so it tends to drag. Starring Kenneth Branagh, Penelope Cruz. Fox, $34.99, 2/27/2018.

57. The Descendants [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Descendants was my preferred pick of the nine Oscar Best Picture nominees, and a second screening didn’t change my mind. Rich, involving and heartbreaking, it creates a low-key but convincing drama. The Blu-ray delivers very good picture, more than acceptable audio and an erratic collection of supplements. I wish the Blu-ray came with a stronger rost

58. World War Z [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I think World War Z sputters at times, it usually provides good action and excitement. The flick offers a fun twist on the zombie genre and keeps us entertained. The Blu-ray boasts very good picture and audio but lacks a strong roster of bonus features. I’d like a bigger package of supplements, but the Blu-ray brings home the movie itself in a sati

59. Commando: Director's Cut (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Would I call Commando the worst of the 80s action flicks? No, but right now I find it tough to think of any crummier efforts. Stiff, awkward, cheesy and idiotic, the film exists to pour on mindless mayhem. It lacks any form of drama or cleverness, but it sure does pile on the kills! Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Dawn Chong. Fox, $19.98, 9/18/2007.

60. The People Vs. George Lucas (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Throw a rock at the Internet and you’ll find complaints about the Star Wars franchise. The People vs. George Lucas collects a lot of these gripes in one place; that means it’s “one-stop shopping” for fans who want to follow all the various criticisms, but it doesn’t create an especially interesting documentary. The DVD comes with average picture and audi
