11. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels: Collector's Edition [Blu-ray] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A gently wicked but thoroughly engaging comedy about some unscrupulous people, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels provides a very fun experience. Mainly due to some wonderful performances, the film seems consistently delightful and smart, as it casts a clever and often hilarious web. Starring Michael Caine, Steve Martin. Shout, $29.99, 1/22/2019.

12. Battle Of Britain: Collector's Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I don’t like Battle enough to recommend it for a “blind buy”, but this is a good purchase for fans. That goes for folks who already own the original “movie-only” DVD. This special edition offers improved picture and audio plus many extras not found on the prior disc. Fans will be happy to get this upgrade. Starring Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier. MGM, $

13. Sleuth (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A two-man tour de force, Sleuth creates a fun and clever mystery.

14. The Man Who Would Be King (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Overall, The Man Who Would Be King is a winner. The movie provides a very satisfying combination of adventure, drama and comedy and does so with flair to spare. However, the DVD itself offers mediocre picture and sound with a few minor extras. It’s a good movie but a flawed DVD. Starring Sean Connery, Michael Caine. Warner, $19.98, 11/18/1997.

15. Secondhand Lions: Platinum Series (2003)
Reviewed by David Williams: A profitable venture for New Line, but far from being a blockbuster, Secondhand Lions presents a feel-good film that the entire family can sit down and enjoy together. With New Line’s excellent audio and video transfers, as well as the inclusion of some moderately entertaining extras, Secondhand Lions comes highly recommended … warm fuzzies included. Sta

16. Jaws the Revenge [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the miserable Jaws 3, I didn’t think the franchise could sink any lower. I was wrong, as Jaws the Revenge manages to make a bad situation even worse. Starring Lorraine Gary, Michael Caine. Universal, $14.98, 6/14/2016.

17. Battle Of Britain (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Something like The Battle of Britain should have been right up my alley. Unfortunately, the film skimped on excitement and concentrated too much on spectacle and its thinly drawn characters. Starring Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier. MGM, $14.95, 5/20/2003.

18. The Swarm [Blu-Ray] (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I thought The Swarm stunk when I was 11, I shouldn’t have expected to like it more at 51. Indeed, the film remains a clunker of monumental proportions. Starring Michael Caine, Katharine Ross. Warner, $21.99, 9/25/2018.

19. The Muppet Christmas Carol: 20th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1992)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Given the existence of eight million other adaptations of the Dickens story, is there any reason to see A Muppet Christmas Carol? Yes – it’s a lot of fun. It also provides a rich and surprisingly true retelling of the tale, and it works awfully well. The Blu-ray offers positive visuals, more than adequate audio and a smattering of satisfying supplements.

20. The Man Who Would Be King [Blu-Ray Book] (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Overall, The Man Who Would Be King is a winner. The movie provides a very satisfying combination of adventure, drama and comedy and does so with flair to spare. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals, adequate audio and minor supplements. I’d like to see the movie get special edition treatment someday, but I can’t complain about the presentation of the m
