- 181. Kung Fu Panda 2: Ultimate Edition of Awesomeness (2011)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Kung Fu Panda 2, we find a film that improves on its predecessor. Funnier, smarter and more engaging, the sequel works pretty well. Starring Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman. DreamWorks, $14.98, 1/5/2016.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: First Blood has its flaws, but it generally offers a vivid and compelling action flick that also includes more depth than usual.

- 183. Blue Lagoon: Double Feature Edition (1980)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Recommendation time, and you don't need a weatherman to tell which way the wind blows. You don't need Roger Ebert to tell you that The Blue Lagoon blows as well. The film caused a smutty sensation in 1980 but stands as a simply atrocious movie when divorced from those issues. (And the same can be said for the sequel.) Starring Brooke Shields, Milla Jovov

- 184. Rendition (2007)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If it focused more on characters and plot and less on political commentary, Rendition might’ve become more potent. As it stands, the movie has some moments but tends to veer into territory that makes it more like an editorial than a real story ... I can’t complain about this fine release, but the film itself doesn’t prosper enough for my recommendation.

- 185. Rebel Without A Cause [Blu-Ray Book] (1955)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it probably should seem pathetically dated, Rebel Without A Cause generally holds up well despite its age. The movie provides a solid look at the era’s youth culture and the problems faced by teens. Largely due to some excellent performances, the movie remains moving and convincing many decades later. The Blu-ray delivers good picture and audio

- 186. War For The Planet Of The Apes [4K UHD] (2017)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As the third film in the series, War for the Planet of the Apes could’ve spun its wheels, but instead, it delivers a vivid tale of its own. The movie offers an unusual character orientation that allows it to create a vivid, involving narrative. Starring Woody Harrelson, Andy Serkis. Fox, $39.99, 10/24/2017.

- 187. Full Metal Jacket: New Stanley Kubrick Collection (1987)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Jacket remains a decent flick, albeit one with little point or flair to distinguish it from others in its genre ... If you’re new to Kubrick, Full Metal Jacket shouldn’t be high on your list, but already-established fans should be pleased with this high quality presentation of the film. Starring Matthew Modine, Adam Baldwin. Warner, $14.98, 6/12/2001.

- 188. The Robe: Special Edition (1953)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Thanks largely to a stellar turn from its lead actor, The Robe provides an unusually interesting Biblical epic. Sure, it drags at times and suffers from some of the genre’s usual shortcomings, but Richard Burton provides such a strong performance that the film manages to remain compelling ... Though the DVD disappoints in some ways, it remains decent eno

- 189. Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked [Blu-Ray] (2011)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Three films into the franchise, one knows what to anticipate from a Chipmunks movie, and Chipwrecked lives up – or down – to expectations. It provides occasional amusement but suffers from a general lack of inspiration and cleverness. The Blu-ray gives us good picture and audio along with some decent supplements. If you already enjoy the Chipmunks, you’l

- 190. The Diary Of Anne Frank: 50th Anniversary Edition (1959)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: (T)his “50th Anniversary Edition” DVD comes as a letdown as well. It provides picture and sound that are on a par with what we found on the prior disc, but it omits most of that set’s supplements. While this release’s exclusives are interesting, they don’t substitute for the elements found on the original disc. Completists will want to own both, but if y
