81. Blade Runner: 4-Disc Collector's Edition (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: That leaves the debate between the two-disc and four-disc releases. Both have their merits, especially since its $20.99 MSRP makes the two-disc set the bargain of the year. But I think this four-disc version will be the one preferred by most fans. At $34.99, it remains reasonably priced, and it packs in more than enough good extras to make it worthwhile.

82. Blade Runner: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I’m glad I got the UCE, as I think it’s a nice set, and I’m enough of a completist that it was worth it to me. However, it’s just too damned expensive to be worthwhile for most people. The fifth DVD is the only real attraction, as the non-disc-based materials are a bit of a joke. Is it worth an extra $44 for one DVD and some cheap toys? For 99 percent of

84. Panic In The Streets [Blu-Ray] (1950)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A film noir with a theme that remains timely, Panic in the Streets eschews the usual “hunt for a killer” clichés. Sure, it does look for a baddie, but with a clever backdrop that makes matters more compelling. This adds up to a tight little drama. The Blu-ray provides very good picture, decent audio and a useful collection of supplements. I like the movi

85. A Letter To Three Wives [Blu-Ray] (1949)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A pleasant surprise, A Letter to Three Wives came out of nowhere and really impressed me. Granted, based on prior experiences with the work of Joseph Mankiewicz, I should have expected the zippy and amusing effort I saw, but I nonetheless took it as an unanticipated delight. The Blu-ray offers stunning visuals along with satisfying audio and some satisfy

86. Little Caesar [Blu-Ray] (1931)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While influential and important as an early gangster flick, Little Caesar can look dated to modern eyes. That doesn’t mean the movie doesn’t entertain, though, as a stellar lead performance from Edward G. Robinson ensures that we remain interested in the movie despite its weaknesses. The Blu-ray offers erratic but acceptable picture and audio along with

87. Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, we get a mediocre fantasy adventure. While the movie manages occasional bouts of fun and excitement, it usually seems generic and without real charm. The Blu-ray brings us very good picture and audio but lacks substantial bonus materials. Fans of the franchise may enjoy Sea, but it doesn’t do much for me. Starring Log

88. NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A generally interesting program, Ronald Reagan doesn’t excel but it proves largely informative. It concentrates on a few slightly unusual areas and comes across as well-packaged and entertaining. Narrated by Stone Phillips. Universal, $19.98, 7/20/2004.

90. Interstellar [4K UHD] (2014)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Few – if any – modern filmmakers “think big” to the level achieved by Christopher Nolan, and Interstellar once again demonstrates his ability to succeed with his grand efforts. Arguably his best non-Batman film, Interstellar delivers a vivid, emotional and ambitious space epic. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway. Paramount, $31.99, 12/19/2017.
