91. Kiss Me Deadly (Criterion Collection) [Blu-Ray] (1955)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A film noir with some odd twists, Kiss Me Deadly holds up well after almost six decades. Not everything here succeeds, but it works most of the time and is an interesting journey. The Blu-ray comes with pretty good picture and audio as well as a fairly nice set of supplements. Both the Blu-ray and the movie are winners. Starring Ralph Meeker, Albert Dekk

92. Bullets Or Ballots (1936)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not the most creative gangster movie ever made, Bullets or Ballots at least manages to remain quite entertaining. It holds up quite well after 70 years and creates an interesting view of a particular criminal element. Starring Edward G. Robinson, Humphrey Bogart. Warner, $19.97, 7/18/2006.

94. Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Bueller Bueller Edition (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Perhaps the fact I’m not wild about Ferris Bueller’s Day Off makes me a traitor to my generation. The film certainly has maintained a big audience over the last two decades. I just never got a whole lot out of it, as I find it to provide sporadic entertainment and not much more. Starring Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara. Paramount, $19.99, 1/10/200

95. Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Three films into the franchise, one knows what to anticipate from a Chipmunks movie, and Chipwrecked lives up – or down – to expectations. It provides occasional amusement but suffers from a general lack of inspiration and cleverness. The Blu-ray gives us good picture and audio along with some decent supplements. If you already enjoy the Chipmunks, you’l

96. The Birds [Blu-Ray] (1963)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I wouldn’t objectively call The Birds Hitchcock’s best movie, it may offer his most entertaining one. Packed with thrills and tension, it turns into a fun ride. Starring Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy. Universal, $19.98, 5/6/2014.

97. Grease (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Almost a quarter of a century after the movie first dazzled me, Grease doesn’t rock my world anymore, but it remains a fairly entertaining little piece of work.

98. Casino Royale: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Bond franchise takes a darker path with 2006’s Casino Royale. It commits to a harsher reality and turns into one of the series’ most satisfying entries. Starring Daniel Craig, Eva Green. Sony, $28.96, 3/13/2007.

99. Casablanca [Blu-Ray] (1942)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Nothing I could say would even remotely dislodge Casablanca from its perch as a classic, and I wouldn’t want to try. I don’t think it totally lives up to its reputation, but I find it to offer a very well-crafted and engaging film. This Blu-ray presents very nice visuals with sound that seems quite good for its era plus a stellar set of supplements. Casa

100. Gandhi (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a movie, Gandhi falls well short of its goals. It glorifies the life of a great man to an unrealistic degree, and it comes across as a dull, stodgy hagiography. Starring Ben Kingsley, Candice Bergen. Sony, $24.95, 8/28/2001.
