311. Baseball's Most Unbreakable Feats (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... I worried that we’d just get comments that lavish praise and tell us little else, but we find some nice insights into the records. It’s good that we hear from so many ballplayers, since they’re able to put the topics into perspective. This turns into an entertaining little documentary. Narrated by Roger Clemens. Shout!, $19.99, 7/3/2007.

312. The Terminal: 3 Disc Collector's Set (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At this point in his career, I don’t know if Steven Spielberg has it in him to make a truly great movie. Saving Private Ryan is as close as he’s come in a long time, and it has its flaws. The Terminal stands as a representative of the modern Spielberg: it has enough charms to make it enjoyable, but it shows too many problems to rise above “pretty good” s

313. The Departed: Special Edition (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it forms an interesting picture, The Departed doesn’t match up with director Martin Scorsese’s best. It entertains and acts as a worthwhile experience, but it doesn’t leave a substantial impression like Scorsese’s more memorable material. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon. Warner, $34.99, 2/13/2007.

314. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Devil Wears Prada emerged as a left field hit, and the movie occasionally becomes sassy and provocative enough to warrant its success. Unfortunately, too much of the flick concentrates on its dull protagonist and takes us away from the character we really want to follow: Meryl Streep’s cool, calculating Miranda. When the film leaves her, it sags. Sta

315. The Sorcerer's Apprentice [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At no point does The Sorcerer’s Apprentice approach greatness, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deliver fun. While it lacks real originality, it has a good time with its subject and provides a fairly entertaining experience. The Blu-ray comes with pretty positive picture, excellent audio, and some decent supplements. This becomes a perfectly nice release

316. West Side Story: Special Edition (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For those who already own the old DVD, I’d recommend they stick with it unless they just can’t get enough of West Side Story.

317. You've Got Mail [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its box office success, 1998’s You’ve Got Mail marked the on-screen partnership of Nora Ephron, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. For that, I’m eternally grateful, as their efforts proved to be consistently poor. Mail suffers from too much cuteness and not enough wit or entertainment. The Blu-ray provides good picture quality, mediocre audio and a pretty s

318. East Of Eden [Blu-Ray Book] (1955)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: East of Eden would remain interesting simply for its historical value. Happily, despite some flaws, it offers a frequently compelling tale with a mix of positives highlighted by some strong performances. The Blu-ray delivers very good picture and audio along with a roster of supplements that works pretty well despite a lackluster audio commentary. I doub

319. John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band: Sweet Toronto (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While useful for archival reasons, the concert performance itself simply seems too sloppy and meandering to merit any sort of classic status.

320. The Greatest Story Ever Told [Blu-Ray] (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Blu-ray offers relatively positive sound and a few fairly interesting supplements, but visuals are inconsistent and not a huge improvement over the 10-year-old DVD. Yeah, the Blu-ray’s more attractive than that release, but not by enough for me to recommend it as an upgrade. The movie needs a new transfer; since it appears to recycle that old DVD pre
