41. Robin Hood (1973)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a Disney die-hard, I will keep Robin Hood in my collection. However, only folks like me will want to own this mediocre and bland film. The story is a mess, while the animation, characters, songs, and pretty much everything else remain passable at best and become bland and flat at worst. Starring Brian Bedford, Phil Harris. Disney, $29.99, 7/5/2000.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: A Goofy Movie: Gold Collection (1995) Studio Line: Disney - It's hard to be cool, when your dad's Goofy. Disney's legendary comedian stars in his very first full-length motion picture, A Goofy Movie, packed with so...

43. The Sorcerer's Apprentice [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At no point does The Sorcerer’s Apprentice approach greatness, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deliver fun. While it lacks real originality, it has a good time with its subject and provides a fairly entertaining experience. The Blu-ray comes with pretty positive picture, excellent audio, and some decent supplements. This becomes a perfectly nice release

44. The Fox And The Hound: 25th Anniversary Edition (1981)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should those completists who already own the prior DVD release “upgrade” to this one? That’s a tough call. Yes, it improved in all areas, as we got better picture and sound plus a few new supplements. However, none of these domains showed tremendous growth, so the 25th Anniversary DVD didn’t turn into a real winner. If you really like Fox, double dip for

45. The Sword In The Stone: Gold Classic Collection (1963)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After more than 40 years, 1963’s The Sword In the Stone remains one of Disney’s most ordinary animated films. Although the movie seems to boast few serious detractors, it also fails to excite many fans, and it maintains a status as a bland but mildly enjoyable offering ... Ultimately, The Sword In the Stone will make a good addition to the collections of

46. Pollyanna (1960)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Pollyanna provides some entertainment but the viewer must muddle through a lot of dull sequences to get to those moments.

47. Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts (1920s - 1960s)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the studio’s odder compilations, Disney Rarities spans a broad range of eras and styles. There’s little to unify them, so expect a lot of highs and lows. Plenty of good material appears, but the presentation isn’t up to snuff when compared to other Disney packages. Disney, $32.99, 12/6/2005.

48. The Sword In The Stone: 45th Anniversary Edition (1963)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Does this “45th Anniversary Edition” merit an “upgrade” for fans who have the prior release from 2001? Nope. It adds nothing interesting and provides the same picture and audio as the earlier disc. Indeed, the 2000 DVD is preferable because it offers a longer version of the TV show excerpted here. This new disc is a disappointment. Starring Rickie Sorens

49. Cinderella [Blu-Ray] (1950)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Cinderella would deserve a special place in animation history simply because it revived the fortunes at Disney. However, it’s more than that, as the flick is still as charming and winning now as it was 62 years ago. The Blu-ray delivers excellent visuals along with adequate audio and a reasonably interesting set of supplements. I wish we got more extensi
