11. Black Swan [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Essentially Showgirls with many more pretensions and much less skin, Black Swan goes down as one of the worst Oscar nominees in years. Absurd, silly and downright laughable most of the time, the movie fails in most possible ways. The Blu-ray comes with adequate picture, good audio and a reasonably informative set of supplements. Maybe someday I’ll compre

12. Bad Moms Christmas [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Little more than a rehash of the first film, A Bad Moms Christmas lacks inspiration. Due to a good cast, it musters an occasional laugh, but most of it feels stale and predictable. Starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell. Universal, $34.98, 2/6/2018.

13. Ted [Blu-Ray] (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ted comes with a fun premise but inconsistent execution. It mixes clever gags with cheap jokes to offer a tremendously up and down comedic experience. The Blu-ray provides generally good picture and audio along with a fairly useful batch of bonus materials. Ted will probably delight Seth MacFarlane fans but it seems less likely to win over new converts.

14. The Book Of Eli [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At its best, The Book of Eli gives us an exciting, compelling action-oriented western. Unfortunately, it only occasionally reaches these heights, and too much of it falters with dull characters and extended exposition. The Blu-ray boasts excellent visuals, strong audio, and an erratic but generally good set of supplements. While I find the movie to disa

15. Oz The Great And Powerful [Blu-Ray 3D] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Oz the Great and Powerful won’t make anyone forget The Wizard of Oz, but it doesn’t try to replace the 1939 classic. Instead, it offers its own riff on the characters and situations, and it does so in a fun, creative manner. The Blu-ray boasts excellent picture and audio along with a decent batch of bonus materials. I remain disappointed we don’t find a

16. Family Guy: Volume 2 - Season 3 (2001)
Reviewed by David Williams: Three of the funniest discs you’ll ever spin through your player, Family Guy comes with my highest recommendation. Make sure you pick it up if you haven’t already. Created by Seth MacFarlane. Fox, $49.98, 9/9/2003.

17. Date Night [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it never reinvents the “fish out of water” wheel, Date Night still proves to be thoroughly entertaining. Much of the credit goes to an excellent cast highlighted by fine performances from Tina Fey and Steve Carell. The Blu-ray gives us decent to good picture and audio as well as a useful, engaging set of supplements. I like this flick and think th

18. Family Guy: Volume 1 - Season 1 & 2 (1999)
Reviewed by David Williams: This is one of those rare occasions where I can absolutely and whole-heartedly recommend a set sight unseen.
