71. The Green Mile [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Green Mile offers an entertaining little fable. It takes too long to get to its conclusion and follows too many dead ends along the way, but I still feel that it works well as a whole, largely due to the presence of a fine cast. The Blu-ray itself offers mediocre picture, very good sound and a nice collection of extras. This remains a solid movie, bu

73. Double Indemnity: Legacy Series (1944)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its status as a classic, I found 1944’s Double Indemnity to be less compelling than anticipated, mainly due to the presence of Fred MacMurray in the lead role. Without him, I might have liked it more, but I thought he completely ruined any tension or drama. Starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck. Universal, $28.99, 8/22/2006.

74. Superman II: The Motion Picture Anthology (1978-2006) [Blu-Ray] (1980)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Superman II remains a flawed but fun film, one that often balances comedy and action with romance and drama. It can be a tentative mix, but for the most part, it worked well and created an interesting program. The Blu-ray provides generally strong picture along with very nice audio and a good set of supplements. This becomes the best way to see this inco

78. Planes [Blu-Ray 3D] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: No one will pick Planes as an animated classic, but it provides acceptable family fare. While it excels in no way, it delivers just enough entertainment to keep us with it across its 91 minutes. Starring Dane Cook, Stacy Keach. Disney, $19.99, 11/19/2013.

It benefits from generally excellent acting, a compelling story, and deft direction. The Blu-ray gives us good picture and sound along with a terrific set of supplements. The Blu-ray delivered a st
