31. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 10 years and eight movies, the massively successful franchise comes to a close with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. And it does so in spectacular fashion with a film that seems likely to be viewed as the best of the bunch. The Blu-ray offers good picture, awesome audio and a strong set of supplements. The “Ultimate Edition” won’t be

32. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If bonus materials matter to you, then the Ultimate Edition will be the way to go. I thought the single-disc Blu-ray lacked extras with much substance, but the UE fixes that with its many good components. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly expensive package, but I expect it’ll be a good investment for the big Potter fans. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson

33. Schindler's List [4K UHD] (1993)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I know I’m firmly in the minority in regard to my negative opinion of Schindler’s List, but I really don’t understand the overwhelming praise given to the movie. It tells an important story but does so with too much manipulation and too little subtlety. Add to that a lack of depth from the characters and it seems like a flawed examination of its subject.

35. Kubo and the Two Strings [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite some fantastic elements and gorgeous animation, Kubo and the Two Strings presents a fairly standard mix of “hero’s journey” and “coming of age” tales. For the most part, it entertains, but it seems a little on the inconsistent side. Starring Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey. Universal, $14.99, 11/22/2016.

36. The Lego Batman Movie [Blu-Ray 3D] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times, The Lego Batman Movie offers a decent spoof of superhero tales but not one that impressed as a whole. The 3D edition adds a nice sense of depth and vivacity to the proceedings. Starring Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis. Warner, $44.95, 6/13/2017.

37. Dolittle [Blu-Ray] (2020)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An expensive box office disappointment, I can’t call Dolittle a bad movie, but I can’t claim it does much right, either. Erratic and unfocused, the film manages splashes of entertainment but it never connects as a whole. Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Michael Sheen. Universal, $19.98, 4/7/2020.

38. SPECTRE [Blu-Ray] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At nearly two and a half hours, SPECTRE becomes the longest Bond film to date, and the added running time doesn’t suit it well. Though the movie shows occasional glimmers of life, it tends to feel slow and without much real excitement. Starring Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz. Fox, $39.99, 2/9/2016.

39. The Lego Batman Movie [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times, The Lego Batman Movie offers a decent spoof of superhero tales. Unfortunately, it crams in too many characters and a contrived theme, all of which make it less than effective. Starring Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis. Warner, $35.99, 6/13/2017.

40. The Great Raid: Collector's Series (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Stiff and uninspired, The Great Raid has the right motives but lacks the heart to succeed. It suffers from dreary storytelling and a general absence of passion. This makes it shockingly inert for a movie with so much potential for power. Starring Benjamin Bratt, James Franco. Fox, $39.99, 12/20/2005.
