11. Welcome To Mooseport (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Welcome to Mooseport enjoyed a fun concept and a good cast. Unfortunately, it failed to explore the ideas well or appropriately utilize the performers, and it comes across as a decidedly lackluster flick. Starring Gene Hackman, Ray Romano. Fox, $27.98, 5/25/2004.

12. Vinyl: The Complete First Season [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite an excellent pedigree and a compelling topic, Vinyl never quite connects. While the series occasionally flits to life, it fails to turn into anything especially involving or intriguing. Starring Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde. HBO, $59.98, 6/7/2016.

13. Ratatouille [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Through two screenings, I kept hoping I’d embrace Ratatouille, but no breakthrough ever came. I enjoyed the film and found much to like about it, but it lacked that certain kick that would allow me to really love it ... Despite my somewhat lackluster attitude toward Ratatouille, I do like it enough to recommend it. This may not be one of my favorite Pixa

14. The Batman: The Complete Series [Blu-Ray] (2004-2008)
"Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Perhaps less remembered than more famous cousins like Batman: The Animated Series, I

15. Man Of Steel [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I saw A Good Day to Die Hard, I opined that it’d probably end up as my biggest cinematic disappointment of 2013. Perhaps I spoke too soon, as Man of Steel may earn that “honor”. Flawed in almost every possible way, the film craps all over the Superman legacy. The Blu-ray boasts terrific picture and audio along with a fairly solid roster of supplemen

16. Ice Age: Super-Cool Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This “Super-Cool Edition” of Ice Age is a worthwhile purchase for fans who don’t own the prior DVD. However, I don’t think anyone who has that set should bother with the new release. Picture and audio seem identical for both, and the new extras don’t add much to the package. They’re good but not substantial enough to warrant an “upgrade”. Starring Ray Ro

17. Beauty And The Beast [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Beauty and the Beast remains one of Disney’s best. I probably prefer the original theatrical version to the altered “Special Edition”, but since this set includes both, I won’t complain. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals, very good audio, and an extensive roster of supplements. It’s a solid upgrade over the DVD and worth inclusion in the collection

18. Justice League: The New Frontier (Commemorative Edition) [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With an intriguing story and a good cast, Justice League: The New Frontier offers reasonable entertainment. Unfortunately, it doesn’t achieve all its goals because it’s far too short for its ambitions. Starring David Boreanaz, Neil Patrick Harris. Warner, $29.98, 10/3/2017.

19. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite a strong narrative, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights provides pretty good entertainment. It tells a mix of short tales that vary in quality but often deliver fun and excitement. The Blu-ray comes with very good picture and audio as well as an inconsistent but generally positive set of supplements. Both the movie and the Blu-ray work fairly well. St

20. Up [Blu-Ray 3D] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After two movies that I liked but didn’t love, Pixar rebounded with the wholly satisfying Up. Sweet, funny and exciting, the movie is a consistent delight. Starring Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer. Disney, $49.99, 11/10/2009.
