The old DVD was one of the least attractive of the 2006 releases; it looked decent, but it wasn’t as good as its siblings. Occasionally the killings provide memorable moments; the shot of a flaming Jason as he slays in a cornfield comes to mind. Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How about those aficionados who already own the original Gun DVD – should they snag the “Ultimate Edition”? I’d recommend it, but not intensely. 259. E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial - Ultimate Gift Set (1982 & 2002)

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I recommend some version of E.T. to everyone, the question becomes which one to get. Frankly, I think the standard two-DVD set makes the most sense for the majority of folks. It provides both versions of the movie and also tosses in many of the bigger package’s extras.
