11. Live 8 (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Live 8 doesn’t quite live up to the legend of Live Aid, but it does more than well enough on its own. This set presents a wide variety of performances that range from terrific to terrible. It still features plenty of fine music, though ... No one will like everything about the Live 8 release, but it has enough going for it to merit my recommendation. Sta

12. Quadrophenia: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Overall, I had some problems with Quadrophenia as a movie, but I thought it offered a generally solid and compelling experience. It featured some inaccuracies but it managed to capture the spirit and tone of an era nicely. The Blu-ray delivers solid picture and audio along with a nice selection of supplements. Fans should eagerly embrace this Criterion r

13. Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid: Special Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid isn't a great movie, but I found it to offer a fair amount of fun and entertainment, mainly sparked by the strong chemistry of its stars. Starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford. Fox, $14.98, 5/16/2000.

15. Tori Amos: Video Collection - Fade To Red (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t call myself a fan of Tori Amos’ music, I do think Fade to Red offers a surprisingly strong set of videos. We get very few ordinary performance clips here, as most take more creative paths. That makes them consistently intriguing. Starring Tori Amos. Rhino/WEA, $24.98, 2/14/2006.

16. The Police: Everyone Stares - The Police Inside Out (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... it covers the early era of the Police in a satisfying way but skimps on the band’s last few years. I also can’t call it an especially tight little documentary, but I think it satisfies nonetheless. As a Police fan, it’s simply really cool to see the band’s development from the inside via all the home movie footage ... This is a good pick-up for serio

17. Dune: Extended Edition (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Dune features an epic story with aspirations to Biblical and Shakespearian traditions. Unfortunately, the execution of the flick is pure Rocky Horror Picture Show. This is a silly, choppy and awkward film that provokes plenty of unintentional laughs but little else. Starring Kyle MacLachlan, Jose Ferrer. Universal, $27.98, 1/31/2006.

18. Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid: Ultimate Collector's Edition (1969)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” of Sundance acts as a solid upgrade from the 2000 DVD. Audio remains about the same, but both picture and extras are stronger here. Though those areas were good on the prior disc, they leap up on the 2006 version. That makes it the version to own for fans. Starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford. Fox, $26.98, 6/6/2006.

20. Kate & Leopold [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Kate and Leopold mostly gave me what I thought I’d see, I didn’t expect to enjoy it. However, I did like the movie, at least to a moderate degree. I found it to be a pleasant experience that worked fairly well. The Blu-ray delivers very good picture and audio along with a decent set of supplements.
