111. One Direction: This Is Us [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In One Direction: This Is Us, we get a look at the world’s biggest pop band circa 2013. With its mix of concert material and behind the scenes footage, it offers an occasionally entertaining take on its subjects, but it remains far too frothy and promotional to boast much impact. The Blu-ray provides good picture and audio along with a decent set of supp

112. Ladder 49 (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: All bland sentiment and no real drama, Ladder 49 feels like a chick flick take on firefighters. It comes across as a movie made by a committee. The flick plods through the usual predictable highs and lows but never creates a sense of believability or life. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, John Travolta. Buena Vista, $29.99, 3/8/2005.

113. Dreamgirls [Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Dreamgirls provides an inconsistent but often entertaining piece of work. Though it sags as it goes, it provides a better than average movie musical and displays enough strengths to make it worthwhile. Starring Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles. DreamWorks, $29.99, 5/1/2007.

114. Supergirl: The Complete Third Season [Blu-Ray] (2017-18)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Due to a semi-lackluster year-long narrative, Season Three of Supergirl seems spottier than I’d like. While it comes with a mix of good shows and remains generally entertaining, S3 emphasizes soap opera drama over action, and that’s not an effective move. Starring Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks. Warner, $49.99, 9/18/2018.

115. The Sound Of Music: Five Star Collection (1965)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I continue to dislike musicals, I must admit that The Sound Of Music presents a fairly satisfying piece that will definitely continue to shine for fans of the genre. The DVD itself provides strong picture and sound plus some good extras. For anyone who likes classic musicals, The Sound Of Music comes highly recommended. Starring Julie Andrews, Chri

116. The Omen (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you go anticipate a creative, fresh experience from the 2006 take on The Omen, you’ll leave disappointed, as it adheres very closely to its predecessor. If you want a fairly tight, spooky horror flick, however, the remake is the one to watch. Despite its lack of creativity, it improves on the original with a more intricate, less florid view of events.

117. Saturday Night Fever: 30th Anniversary Special Collector's Edition (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t own Fever on DVD, I’d definitely recommend this 30th Anniversary disc. If you do have the old one, I’d still push for you to get this one just for its improved visuals and new extras. Unfortunately, the die-hard fans won’t be able to get rid of the 2002 disc since it includes some features that don’t pop up here as well. I like this 30th Ann

118. Spider-Man: Superbit Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you have the older version and feel satisfied with the picture, don’t bother with the Superbit. The audio commentary seems mediocre and not worth the additional expense on its own. However, if you’re one of the many who thought the old disc’s visuals seemed less than positive, you’ll probably be unable to resist this upgrade. Starring Tobey Maguire, K

119. The Bourne Identity: Explosive Extended Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it showed theatrically in 2002, The Bourne Identity did little to entice me, which is why I didn’t see it until two years later. I’m glad I finally did, as the movie presents an intriguing and well-made variation on the standard spy flick. Starring Matt Damon, Franka Potente. Universal, $29.98, 7/13/2004.

120. Die Hard: The Die Hard Collection - 2007 (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Speaking more than a decade down the road, Die Hard stands as arguably the most influential action movie of the 1980s, and it has lost none of its luster or appeal since it first appeared. Die Hard remains a nearly perfect example of an intelligently executed and tremendously exciting film. It moves along at an appropriate clip and integrates its action
