91. The Mask of Zorro: Superbit Deluxe Edition (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Mask of Zorro wasn’t a classic, but it offered a fun screening nonetheless.

92. From Here to Eternity [Blu-Ray] (1953)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Overall, From Here to Eternity offered an interesting and surprisingly gritty experience. The movie showed its age at times, but it still appeared to work quite well. The Blu-ray provides excellent picture quality along with generally positive audio and bonus materials. The Blu-ray brings us a fine representation of a classic film. Starring Burt Lancaste

93. Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Mr. & Mrs. Smith threatened to become submerged under all the tabloid escapades associated with it, but the movie still holds up fine on its own. It balances action and romantic comedy in a deft manner to become a light and enjoyable piece of work. Starring Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie. Fox, $29.98, 11/29/2005.

94. The Bourne Identity [4K UHD] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When it showed theatrically in 2002, The Bourne Identity did little to entice me, so I didn’t see it until years later. I’m glad I finally did, as the movie presents an intriguing and well-made variation on the standard spy flick. Starring Matt Damon, Franka Potente. Universal, $22.98, 12/6/2016.

95. Men In Black 3 (2012)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After the disappointing MIB2 - and a 10-year layoff – I didn’t expect much from Men in Black 3. However, the film manages to give us a clever, entertaining romp with a nice emotional payoff along the way. The DVD comes with erratic but generally decent picture, solid audio and minor supplements. It’s too bad the visuals and bonus materials aren’t more im

96. New York, New York: 30th Anniversary Edition (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want to own a DVD Of New York and don’t have the old one, you may as well get this one. It offers the same picture and audio but adds a few moderately interesting supplements. I wouldn’t push for a “double dip”, though. If MGM had improved the non-anamorphic transfer, then it might warrant your attention, but a smattering of new extras don’t merit

97. When A Stranger Calls (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When a Stranger Calls features some of the cheesiest, most heavy-handed filmmaking I’ve seen in years. Except for the hotness of its lead actor, it does nothing right and proves to be a simplistic bore. Starring Camilla Belle, Tommy Flanagan. Sony Pictures, $28.95, 5/16/2006.

98. The Mask: New Line Platinum Series (2005 Reissue) (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t already own The Mask on DVD, I definitely recommend this new “Platinum Series” release of the film. Actually, even if you possess the old disc, I’d advise you to snag this re-issue. It provides a radically improved transfer along with many fine new supplements. With a list price of less than $20, it’s a bargain. Starring Jim Carrey, Cameron

99. Planet Of The Apes: (2006 Single Disc Re-Release) (1968)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Planet of the Apes works well as nothing more than a science fiction action film, which is part of its enduring popularity. Of all the negatives that could have been attached to this movie, it may flirt with some of them but they never stick. Ultimately it's a fun and satisfying adventure that still gets the job done after more than three decades. Starri

100. Ransom: Special Edition (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although I remembered it as a dud, Ransom actually presents a reasonably exciting and spunky little thriller. It suffers from a mix of modest flaws but seems generally entertaining and engaging. Unfortunately, the DVD simply rehashes an old non-anamorphic transfer that comes riddled with a variety of problems. Starring Mel Gibson, Rene Russo. Buena Vista
