41. Walking Tall [Blu-Ray] (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since I never saw the original Walking Tall with Joe Don Baker, I can’t compare it to the 2004 remake, but I must imagine that the old flick surpassed the new one. The Rock displays an engaging personality, but otherwise the film offered little life or excitement, as it just seemed predictable and underdeveloped. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Johnny Knoxville

42. Spiral: From the Book of Saw [4K UHD] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An offshoot of the Saw franchise, Spiral comes with more star power than any of its predecessors. Unfortunately, this doesn’t make it a good film, as it manages moderate entertainment at best due to its many flaws. Starring Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson. Lionsgate, $30.99, 7/20/2021.

43. Kiss: Rocks Vegas [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Legendary rockers Kiss keep on keepin’ on, and Kiss Rocks Vegas shows them in fairly good form. I could live without the program’s overly aggressive stylistic choices, but the performance works pretty well. Starring Kiss. Eagle Rock Entertainment, $26.98, 8/26/2016.

44. Bad Company (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Bad Company gave us a limp flick with little redeeming value. I can’t even recommend it to fans of the performers or the genre.

45. A Star Is Born [Blu-Ray Book] (1976)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Back in the Seventies, many regarded the 1976 A Star Is Born as a misfire, and nothing has changed perceptions over the last 37 years. Tedious, boring and bloated, the flick exists as a love letter to its star and nothing more. The Blu-ray presents pretty good picture, erratic audio and a moderately useful set of supplements. I feel pleased with this rel

47. Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: The Best Of Both Worlds Concert (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Some DVDs are review-proof, and Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert probably falls into that category. For any parents reading to figure out if it’s a good watch for their kids, though, I’d say it is. The concert provides a professional and catchy affair; it doesn’t set the stage on fire, but it entertains. The DVD replicates the

49. Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Some Kind of Monster remains a largely fascinating look at a major rock act. It watches Metallica as they go through the unusual step of band therapy and follows them through a mix of ups and (mostly) downs. It never becomes a totally satisfying documentary, but it musters a lot of insight and entertainment. Starring Metallica. Paramount, $29.99, 1/25/20

50. The Rolling Stones: Rock And Roll Circus (1968)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: It took almost three decades for The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus to emerge from the vaults. Was it worth that wait? Not really, as the show’s not a classic. However, it’s generally pretty good and offers a cool snapshot of the Stones and others circa 1968. It’s invaluable as a historical document. Starring The Rolling Stones. Abkco Films, $19.99,
