124. Dead Wrong [Blu-Ray] (2024)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite a tale with a bunch of potential twists, Dead Wrong never manages much real intrigue. Dragged down by a muddled narrative and a dull lead actor, the film sputters. Starring Derek Smith, Cress Williams. Mill Creek, $19.99, 5/21/2024.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World does nothing to further the weak name of Disney's "direct-to-video" films. The movie provides an uninspired and mediocre extension of Pocahontas that largely falls flat. The Blu-ray delivers excellent picture and audio but lacks significant supplements. This turns into a strong presentation for a forgettable project

130. Sling Blade [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Billy Bob Thornton entered the public consciousness in a big way with 1996’s Sling Blade. In spite of – or maybe because of - its slow pace and low-key nature, the film offers a fascinating character study. The Blu-ray provides pretty good picture, acceptable audio, and a rich collection of extras. This becomes a nice release for a satisfying movie. Star
