71. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An absolutely splendid DVD, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea will make many fans very happy.

72. Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Edition (1964)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I definitely recommend the 40th anniversary DVD for those who don’t own any version of Mary Poppins. How about those who own a previous DVD? They should upgrade to this release as well. I remain a bit disappointed with the transfer due to the edge enhancement, but it’s still the best the movie’s looked on home formats, and the expanse of fine supplements

73. Mary Poppins: 45th Anniversary Edition (1964)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: This becomes the best Poppins to date, but does it deserve a double-dip from fans who own the 40th Anniversary disc? I’d say yes, but only if they’re unhappy with the older DVD’s audio. The new one provides a superior soundtrack. It also adds some Broadway-oriented supplements; they’re reasonably interesting but not worth a new purchase. Starring Julie A

74. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Friendship Edition (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Adventures will never be one of my favorite Disney films, but it possesses enough pleasure to make it worth a look ... Should fans who own the 2002 Adventures DVD snag this new one? Nope. Both picture and audio seem to be identical for the pair, and the only new extra comes from a forgettable TV show. If you already have the old disc, stick with it. Disn

75. Pinocchio [Blu-Ray] (1940)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 80 years after its release, Pinocchio stands as a terrific achievement in animation and a darned entertaining film as well. If it’s not the greatest animated film of all-time, it’s close. Starring Dickie Jones, Cliff Edwards. Disney, $29.99, 3/10/2009.

76. The Lion King [Blu-Ray] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... The Lion King would earn my recommendation even if the Blu-ray included no supplements. The movie stands as one of Disney’s finest and contains to impress after 17 years. The Blu-ray presents excellent picture and sound; it disappoints in terms of extras, though the materials we find here are all good. It stinks that fans will need to keep their old

77. American Legends (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Short and mediocre, Legends includes some decent material, but it’s a weak package as a whole.

78. The Little Mermaid: Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Little Mermaid does not work as well as some later Disney works, but it seems generally entertaining and compelling. It also deserves a warm spot in the hearts of Disney fans because it helped return the Disney animated department to prominence. Starring Jodi Benson, Pat Carroll. Disney, $26.50, 2/26/2019.

79. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh [Blu-Ray] (1977)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: During a weak period for Disney animation, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh offered some of the best work from the studio. 45 years later, the program seems inconsistent but generally charming and winning. Starring Sebastian Cabot, Sterling Holloway. Disney, $19.99, 8/27/2013.

80. The Fox And The Hound: 25th Anniversary Edition (1981)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should those completists who already own the prior DVD release “upgrade” to this one? That’s a tough call. Yes, it improved in all areas, as we got better picture and sound plus a few new supplements. However, none of these domains showed tremendous growth, so the 25th Anniversary DVD didn’t turn into a real winner. If you really like Fox, double dip for
