- 81. The Longest Day (Cinema Classics Collection) (1962)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With “48 international stars” and three directors, The Longest Day can certainly claim to provide a big experience. And it occasionally lives up to its billing, as some of the battle elements give us a good look at the events of D-Day. However, the broad scope also means that we know little about most characters and simply fail to care much about them.

- 82. Planet Of The Apes: 35th Anniversary Edition (1968)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ultimately I found Planet of the Apes to offer a compelling and satisfying little science fiction experience. The film's not perfect, but it seems clever and well executed. This new disc presents improved picture and sound plus a slightly aggravating but generally useful set of supplements. Apes fans definitely will want to upgrade to this fine re-releas

- 83. Night At The Museum: Special Edition (2006)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans can buy Museum in two flavors: this two-disc Special Edition and a single DVD version. The latter offers this package’s first disc on its own. The SE retails for $5 more than the simpler set, and I think it’s worth it. If you don’t care about supplements, don’t bother, but if they interest you, drop a few extra bucks and enjoy all the nice materials

- 84. Austin Powers in Goldmember [Blu-Ray] (2002)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not as good as the first but much better than the second, Austin Powers In Goldmember doesn’t offer a comedy classic, but it provides enough humor to merit a look. Though the movie wallows in a little too much excrement – literally – it enjoys some good performances and quite a few solid moments. Starring Mike Myers, Beyonce Knowles. New Line, $14.9

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I went into Conspiracy?, I expected unquestioning lunacy ala The Men Who Killed Kennedy. Instead, I found a generally reasonable and balanced look at alleged conspiracy theories that features both pro and con viewpoints ... While not a great DVD, the series itself remains consistently interesting. A&E, $29.95, 2/24/2009.
