72. Trekkies (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want to see a mean-spirited take on “nerds”, Trekkies will disappoint you. Instead, it provides a rather even-handed take on its subject matter. Bolstered by plenty of interviews with Trek personnel, it digs into the “Trekkies” in a satisfying way ... The film would make a good rental. Narrated By Denise Crosby. Paramount, $14.98, 11/9/1999.

75. South Park: The Complete Ninth Season (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Like virtually all South Park packages, this Season Nine set includes a mix of winners and stinkers. Actually, there aren’t many true duds in the bunch, so it maintains a balance on the positive side of that ledger. The shows are usually entertaining and amusing ... I believe I’ve recommended all eight of its predecessors, so here’s another endorsement:

76. Star Trek: First Contact [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the better Star Trek films, First Contact provides a consistently satisfying affair. It mixes action with comedy and horror and comes across like a winning and engaging piece of work. Starring Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes. Paramount, $22.99, 4/30/2013.

77. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Four (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I went into Enterprise with fairly low expectations, but I must admit I rather liked it. It developed into something different within the Trek universe and was getting better when it got its premature axe. Season Four offered a lot of unusual threads and worked pretty well. Starring Scott Bakula, Jolene Blalock. Paramount, $129.98, 11/1/2005.

78. Futurama: Volume 4 (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sadly, Volume Four marks the end of Futurama. At least the series went out in a positive manner with arguably its strongest set of episodes. Created by Matt Groening. Fox, $49.98, 8/24/2004.
