1. Kansas City [Blu-Ray] (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An awkward mix of noir thriller and screwball comedy, Kansas City fails to come together in a meaningful way. The movie lacks the coherence it needs to become an engaging tale. Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Miranda Richardson. Arrow, $39.95, 3/3/2020.

2. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire [4K UHD] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The best of the first four films, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the first one to make me interested to see what happens next. It’s still too long and meanders a bit too much, but it offers better focus and greater drama. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $41.99, 11/7/2017.

3. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire: Ultimate Edition [Blu-Ray] (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If bonus materials matter to you, then the Ultimate Edition will be the way to go. I thought the single-disc Blu-ray lacked extras with much substance, but the UE fixes that with its many good components. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly expensive package, but I expect it’ll be a good investment for the big Potter fans. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson

4. Get Carter: Special Edition (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Title: Get Carter: Special Edition (2000) Studio Line: Warner Bros. - The truth hurts. It's not his turf. But it is his war. Los Vegas muscle and glitz meets dot-com, triple-latte Seattle, as a Vegas mob enforcer prowls...

5. Stronger [Blu-ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: To my relief, Stronger avoids most of the traps that befall the majority of “inspirational stories”. It feels honest and impactful as it tells an emotional tale. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Tatiana Maslany. Lionsgate, $24.99, 12/19/2017.

6. Chicken Run: Special Edition (2000)

7. The Phantom Of The Opera: Special Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you’ve never seen Phantom, I certainly can’t recommend it. Drivel of this level should be avoided. If you do like the film, however, I’d steer you toward this two-DVD edition. There’s also a single disc version, but it retails for only two dollars less than this one and loses virtually all of this set’s supplements. The double-disc release is the one

8. Sleepy Hollow (1999)
Sleepy Hollow Reviewed by Colin Jacobson Special Edition DVD Paramount, widescreen 1.85:1/16x9, languages: English DD 5.1 [CC] & Dolby Surround, French Dolby Surround, subtitles: English, single side-dual layer, 19 chapters, rated R, 105 min.,...

9. Fred Claus [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a stellar cast and a clever concept, Fred Claus could’ve been a winner. Instead, it offers an experience so insipid and banal that it made me long for the relative pleasures of the mediocre The Santa Clause. Starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti. Warner, $14.98, 11/25/2008.

10. The Phantom Of The Opera (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Slow, tiresome and tedious, I can’t find anything entertaining in The Phantom of the Opera. I suppose its theatrical melodrama plays better on stage, but on a movie screen, it fails to do anything to distinguish itself. The perfectly dreadful score and songs make things even less tolerable, as the music of Phantom is unmemorable at best and unlistenable
