	3. The Green Mile [Blu-Ray] (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Green Mile offers an entertaining little fable. It takes too long to get to its conclusion and follows too many dead ends along the way, but I still feel that it works well as a whole, largely due to the presence of a fine cast. The Blu-ray itself offers mediocre picture, very good sound and a nice collection of extras. This remains a solid movie, bu URL: http://www.dvdmg.com/greenmilebr.shtml - 28k - 13 Dec 2024

	4. The Green Mile: Special Edition (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Mile definitely deserves your attention, and if you don’t own the prior DVD, go for this special edition. It also offers a good upgrade for those who do possess the original disc. In addition to all the new extras, the 2006 transfer seemed considerably sharper and clearer. This release is a solid piece of work. Starring Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan. URL: http://www.dvdmg.com/greenmilese.shtml - 30k - 13 Dec 2024

	6. Disturbia [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Disturbia offers an erratic but usually entertaining thriller in the Hitchcock vein. It sags at times – especially during the climax – but it compensates with enough charms to make it worth a look. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Sarah Roemer. DreamWorks, $14.98, 6/3/2008. 7. John Adams [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Blu-ray adds some minor new extras, but they’re definitely not enough to warrant a “double dip”. If you don’t already have the DVD, the Blu-ray is the way to go, but I suspect fans who do own the DVD will be fine if they stick with it. Starring Paul Giamatti, Laura Linney. HBO, $79.98, 6/16/2009. URL: http://www.dvdmg.com/johnadamsbr.shtml - 23k - 13 Dec 2024

	8. John Adams (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While John Adams starts slowly and occasionally stutters, overall it creates a winning achievement. It brings out a unique perspective on the early days of America and presents an unsentimental depiction of those events. 10. The Fugitive: Season 1, Volume 1 (1963)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though the absence of extras disappoints, The Fugitive offers a good experience. The show has its highs and lows but usually keeps our interest and creates a lot of clever tales. Other than the lack of supplements, Volume One of The Fugitive’s first season works well on DVD ... This is a quality series that deserves your attention. Starring David Janssen URL: http://www.dvdmg.com/fugitives1v1.shtml - 31k - 13 Dec 2024
