- 1. Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume II (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For fans of classic animated shorts, the Looney Tunes Golden Collection 2 provides a nice sampler of the material. The caliber of the shorts doesnít live up to what we saw on Volume One, but a lot of good stuff appears. Warner, $64.92, 11/2/2004.

- 2. Seinfeld: Season 5 (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Did Season Five of Seinfeld measure up to the heights achieved in Season Four? Probably not, but any possible decline in quality remained marginal. Season Five continued to offer consistently strong material, as only a couple of episodes were relatively mediocre. The visuals and audio were unexceptional but just fine, and they improved slightly over prio

- 3. Blade Runner: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Iím glad I got the UCE, as I think itís a nice set, and Iím enough of a completist that it was worth it to me. However, itís just too damned expensive to be worthwhile for most people. The fifth DVD is the only real attraction, as the non-disc-based materials are a bit of a joke. Is it worth an extra $44 for one DVD and some cheap toys? For 99 percent of

- 4. Blade Runner: 4-Disc Collector's Edition (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: That leaves the debate between the two-disc and four-disc releases. Both have their merits, especially since its $20.99 MSRP makes the two-disc set the bargain of the year. But I think this four-disc version will be the one preferred by most fans. At $34.99, it remains reasonably priced, and it packs in more than enough good extras to make it worthwhile.

- 5. Blade Runner: 30th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray Book] (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Which is a shame. Viewed on its own, the ď30th AnniversaryĒ Blu-ray of Blade Runner is an awesome set. Even without all those extras, it still includes so many materials that it deserves an ďA+Ē for supplements ... But itís not the definitive release of the film. Blade Runner remains a classic, and the Blu-ray brings it home in satisfying fashion. Howe

- 6. Blade Runner: 5-Disc Complete Collector's Edition [Blu-Ray] (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Blade Runner remains a seminal science fiction piece that only seems to improve with additional viewings; its place within the annals of film appears secure. This set includes the directorís ďFinal CutĒ, which indeed probably offers the most satisfying rendition of the film. The Blu-Ray looks absolutely stunning, and it adds very good audio and a long,

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: All in all, the new release of Dr. Strangelove offers a nice little package. Clearly itís not an exhaustive special edition, but it gives us a good look at a famous film. Frankly, I donít think the movie deserves its reputation, but it can be funny and entertaining. Starring Peter Sellers, George C. Scott. Columbia TriStar, $34.95, 11/2/2004.
