1. Mallrats: 10th Anniversary Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The ďsophomore slumpĒ hit Kevin Smith hard with 1995ís Mallrats, though heíd quickly rebound with 1997ís Chasing Amy, still his best flick. Mallrats has earned an audience of supporters/apologists over the years, but donít count me among them, as I think the movie stank then and stinks now. Written and Directed by Kevin Smith. Universal, $26.98, 9/20/200

4. Jason Bourne [Blu-Ray] (2016)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Lather, rinse, repeat: Jason Bourne offers a virtual carbon copy of its Paul Greengrass-directed predecessors. Since those movies lacked cohesion and offered little more than frantic action, I view this as a disappointment. Starring Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander. Universal, $34.98, 12/6/2016.

6. My Name Is Earl: Season One (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: One of the 2005-06 seasonís hits, My Name Is Earl brings a quirky presence to network TV. The series balances offbeat humor and heart to create an amusing and likable experience. Starring Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee. Fox, $49.98, 9/19/2006.

7. A Guy Thing [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A Guy Thing offers nothing more than another Farrelly brothers wannabe, with little humor or spark on display. The Blu-ray presents flawed picture, decent sound and an array of supplements that works once you get beyond an awful audio commentary. The picture quality is the weakest link here, as it presents the film in an ugly manner. Starring Jason Lee,

8. My Name Is Earl: Season Two (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: My Name Is Earl emerged as a hit in 2005-06, and it continued to entertain in its second season. I donít think the seriesí quality dips at all. No, not all of the episodes soar, but thereís more than enough good comedy to keep us entertained ... This is a nice release for a fun show. Starring Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee. Fox, $49.98, 9/25/2007.

9. Mallrats: Collector's Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Mallrats makes for a nice DVD - with good sound and picture and some strong extras - the movie itself is quite bad. As such, this one's a tough call. I love good supplements, and this DVD has some fine ones, so even though I hated the film, it's still worth it for me to own it. If you're not as heavily into extras, you should probably steer clear,

10. The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (Extended Edition) [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: My only quibble with the extended edition of The Return of the King relates to the cut of the film itself. It remains a strong movie, but I think the added bits donít always benefit the story. Nonetheless, they do help flesh out some moments. The Blu-ray displays absolutely stellar picture and audio as well as a long, rich and enjoyable roster of supplem
