1. Tomorrow Never Dies [Blu-Ray] (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In 1997, Tomorrow Never Dies left me a little cold, but Iíve come to better enjoy some of its charms over the years. It doesnít provide the spark found in the best Bond flicks, but it works pretty nicely on its own. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce. MGM, $14.98, 9/15/2015.

2. Tomorrow Never Dies: Ultimate Edition (1997)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Should folks who already own the prior release pursue this Ultimate Edition? I think so. Audio remains the same for both, but this one offers noticeably improved visuals plus a few tasty new extras. This is yet another worthwhile upgrade for Bond fans. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce. MGM, $89.98, 12/12/2006.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a character study, The Wife feels stagnant and trite. Despite a good cast, the movie lacks much real emotional impact. Starring Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce. Sony, $25.99, 1/29/2019.

5. Brazil: Criterion Collection (2006 Single-Disc Edition) (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At the risk of sounding too exuberant, discovering Brazil after all this time makes me feel like I've found some sort of lost treasure. This is a film that can be watched and rewatched and retain most of its appeal; additional viewings are sure to reveal hidden nuances. Brazil is the sort of movie that you tout to all your friends, and which you then scr

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra launched the franchise in forgettable fashion, I hoped the sequel would give it some oomph. Unfortunately, GI Joe: Retaliation offers another dud, as it gives us bloated action with precious little excitement. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum. Paramount, $30.99, 7/20/2021.
