- 1. Baseball's Most Unbreakable Feats (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: ... I worried that we’d just get comments that lavish praise and tell us little else, but we find some nice insights into the records. It’s good that we hear from so many ballplayers, since they’re able to put the topics into perspective. This turns into an entertaining little documentary. Narrated by Roger Clemens. Shout!, $19.99, 7/3/2007.

- 2. Freaky Friday (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Disney’s on a roll in 2003: with Pirates of the Caribbean and Freaky Friday, they turned potentially miserable movies into genuinely entertaining experiences. Friday proves likable and winning, as it maintains a charming piece that also adds a surprising number of solid laughs. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan. Disney, $29.99, 12/16/2003.

- 3. Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If I recall correctly, I enjoyed the multiple universe concept found in earlier DC Comics. As explored in Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths, however, the theme provides only sporadic pleasures. Essentially a lot of fighting without much story, the film remains pretty average. The Blu-ray boasts excellent visuals, good audio and a very nice roster of s

- 4. Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas (Criterion Collection) [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by David Williams: Wild and unhinged like the novel that inspired it, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas won’t be for everyone. Nonetheless, it offers an uninhibited take on its source and can be fascinating viewing. The Blu-ray provides mediocre audio but picture and supplements are very good. This becomes a fine release for an unusual movie. Starring Johnny Depp, Benicio Del

- 6. Major League Baseball: All Century Team (1999)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I like the idea behind the All-Century Team documentary but don’t feel wild about the execution. The show spotlights a list of legendary baseball players and gives us basics about them, but it lacks the depth to really educate us. The DVD comes with unappealing picture quality, average sound, and a small collection of supplements. With a list price under

- 7. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies - Special Edition (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it lacks the political complexity its theme promises, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies compensates with other strengths. In particular, it throws out so much fine action that it creates a genuinely fun, exciting adventure. The DVD boasts good picture and audio but the extras tend to be lackluster, mainly because so many focus on promotional efforts.
