1. Looney Tunes Golden Collection (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For fans of classic animated shorts, the Looney Tunes Golden Collection provides a nice sampler of the material. We find a high level of quality throughout most of the cartoons, with only a smattering of relative duds. With a list price of almost $65, the Golden Collection ainít cheap, but when one considers all the excellent components found in the set,

2. Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume II (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: For fans of classic animated shorts, the Looney Tunes Golden Collection 2 provides a nice sampler of the material. The caliber of the shorts doesnít live up to what we saw on Volume One, but a lot of good stuff appears. Warner, $64.92, 11/2/2004.

3. Pocahontas: 10th Anniversary Edition (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I enjoy Pocahontas and think it's a rather underrated Disney feature, though still not one of their best pictures. This DVD vastly improves over its predecessor, as it offers mostly solid picture with positive audio and a quality roster of extras. This is a fine DVD that should make fans happy. Starring Irene Bedard, Mel Gibson. Disney, $29.99, 5/3/2005.

4. Pocahontas: Disney Gold Classics Collection (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I enjoy Pocahontas and think it's a rather underrated Disney feature, though still not one of their best pictures. This DVD is a definite disappointment, though. It presents decent but unexceptional audio along with problematic picture and almost no extras. It doesnít do justice to the movie and itís a pretty weak DVD. Starring Irene Bedard, Mel Gibson.

5. The Flintstones: The Complete Series [Blu-Ray] (1960-1966)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sixty years after the series debuted, The Flintstones remains witty, clever and delightful. Of course, not all the episodes hit the mark, but this ďComplete SeriesĒ collection brings more than enough strong entertainment to make it a keeper. Starring Alan Reed, Mel Blanc. Warner, $84.99, 10/27/2020.

6. Pocahontas: 2-Movie Special Collection [Blu-Ray] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I enjoy Pocahontas and think it's a rather underrated Disney feature, though still not one of their best pictures. This Blu-ray delivers excellent visuals and good audio but fails to present all of the earlier DVDís supplements Ė at least not on the disc itself. The absence of the old materials disappoints, but at least the Blu-ray provides a fine prese

7. Pinocchio: Disney Gold Classics Collection (1940)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Pinocchio stands as a terrific achievement in animation and a darned entertaining film as well. If itís not the greatest animated film of all-time, itís close. The DVD provides mediocre picture and audio along with no significant supplements. A great film like Pinocchio deserves better treatment. Starring Mel Blanc, Don Brodie. Disney, $29.99, 10/26/1999

8. The Flintstones: The Complete First Season (1960)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Since Iíve loved The Flintstones most of my life, I didnít need to be sold on these shows. It was pretty much a given that Iíd enjoy them. However, I was somewhat surprised just how much I liked them. I figured that weíd get a mix of good, average, and flat shows, but the truth is that the good overwhelm the set and only a few moderate duds appear. Crate

9. The Jetsons: The Complete First Season (1962)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Given my love for The Flintstones, I expected to really enjoy The Jetsons. Unfortunately, it failed to emerge as a terribly interesting show. The series started out fairly well but quickly repeated itself and often did little more than copy The Flintstones, a much more inspired program. Created by Joseph Barbera and William Hanna. Warner, $64.92, 5/11/20

10. The Flintstones: The Complete Second Season (1961)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: More than 40 years after the shows first aired, The Flintstones remains a consistently entertaining and often brilliant program. The seriesí second season packs 32 episodes, most of which are good to great ... At a reasonable list price of less than $45, this oneís a steal Ė I highly recommend it. Created by Joseph Barbera, William Hanna. Warner, $44.98,
