2. Deliverance [Blu-Ray Book] (1972)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although our cultural familiarity with it can create some distractions, Deliverance remains a very good film. It presents a simple, concise portrayal of a weekend trip gone very wrong and does so in a dramatic manner. The Blu-ray offers generally good picture and audio plus a few strong supplements. Despite his many ups and downs over the years, it remains a fun and lively piece, largely due to his winning and charismatic performance.
