-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson/Blake Kenny: Though parts of Stephen King’s It work well, the mini-series seems lackluster overall. A product of its TV budget, it seems mediocre in most ways. Starring Tim Reid, Tim Curry. Warner, $14.98, 9/20/2016.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With so many other versions of A Christmas Carol on the market, is there any reason to pursue this 1997 edition? Nope. It’s a cheap and crude piece of product at best. Starring Tim Curry, Whoopi Goldberg. Fox, $14.98, 10/12/2004.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Annie becomes a dud because the movie itself offers an insufferably cute and cloying concoction. How so much talent got wasted on this mess remains a mystery to me. Starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney. Sony, $164.99, 10/25/2022.

- 6. The Rocky Horror Picture Show [Blu-Ray] (1975)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At this point in history, I'm not sure it matters anymore if Rocky Horror Picture Show is any good; it's become so famous for other reasons that the movie itself seems almost irrelevant. Personally, I don't like it, but others obviously find something interesting about it ... In any case, the Blu-ray provides surprisingly positive picture and sound. The

-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At times, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas offers some mild entertainment, but for the most part it seems pretty bland. It certainly doesn't live up to the level of the original film. The Blu-ray delivers solid picture and audio as well as some minor supplements. Leave this one for die-hard Beast fans, as it’s a generally forgettable effort.

- 10. Clue: The Movie [Blu-Ray] (1985)
-
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I found Clue to offer a surprisingly entertaining diversion. The film clearly will never be regarded as a classic, but the combination of a fine cast and a light tone make it a fun little romp. The Blu-ray lacks significant supplements but delivers very good picture and positive audio. This is a nice release for a goofy but enjoyable movie. Starring Eile
