181. Treasure Planet: 10th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not on a par with the greatest Disney animated flicks, I felt Treasure Planet seemed a lot more entertaining than its poor box office reception might lead you to believe. It provided a lively and amusing movie that moved at a good pace and was generally well executed. The Blu-ray gives us excellent picture and audio along with a nice collection of

182. The World's End [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The finale to the so-called “Cornetto Trilogy”, The World’s End offers a winning action-comedy. It emphasizes the laughs and delivers a fun, fresh take on its territory. The Blu-ray gives us very good picture and audio along with a stellar roster of bonus materials. Everything works well here and this becomes a recommended Blu-ray for a fun movie. Starri

183. The Other Guys [Blu-Ray] (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it provides mild entertainment, The Other Guys winds up as a disappointment. Despite a lot of talent involved and some scenarios that seem ripe to delight, it falls flat too much of the time and simply lacks the expected wit. The Blu-ray provides excellent picture and audio along with a wide but inconsistent set of supplements. Maybe other fans

184. SCTV Network/90: Volume Two (1978)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: When I reviewed Volume One of SCTV, I related my strong affection for the show, and that hasn’t changed over the last few months. Volume Two continues to fun and indeed likely improves over the earlier release. The series achieves a bit more consistency with this compilation and offers a great deal of terrific material. Starring John Candy, Eugene Levy.

185. xXx: 15th Anniversary Edition [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In its attempts to create a 21st century secret agent, xXx just falls flat and comes across like a lame rehash of better films. A loud and obnoxious affair, the flick tries way too hard to floor us with its “extreme” action, but it does little more than seem inane and pointlessly flashy. Starring Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson. Sony, $19.98, 1/10/2017.

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Probably 2003’s most pleasant cinematic surprise, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl ably overcomes the cheesiness of its origins and provides a deft and lively adventure. It reignites the fun of pirate flicks and still manages to feel fresh and invigorating. Starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom. Disney, $14.99, 4/19/2011.
