11. Remember The Titans: Director's Cut (2000)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The DVD provides fairly solid picture and sound with a few decent extras. Unfortunately, it drops the best supplements from the original DVD. Because of that, I recommend fans skip this “Director’s Cut” release and stick with the old DVD. It’s the most satisfying way to watch the movie. Starring Denzel Washington, Will Patton. Disney, $19.99, 3/14/2006.

13. Glory [Blu-Ray 4K] (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Glory is a solid effort that tells an important story in a compelling and evocative manner; Zwick usually does well with this kind of material, and Glory is no exception. Starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington. Sony, $19.99, 5/14/20013.

14. The Little Things [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a new entry in the well-worn serial killer genre, The Little Things benefits from a strong cast. However, it brings little new to the table and feels too derivative to become anything memorable. Starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek. Warner, $35.99, 5/4/2021.

16. Déjà Vu (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Déjà Vu gives us what we expect from a Jerry Bruckheimer flick: good production values, an intriguing concept, some action, and a pretty nonsensical story. In this case, the first three overrule the last one to make Vu silly but fun ... Vu isn’t a classic, but I think it at least merits a rental. Starring Denzel Washington, Paula Patton. Touchstone, $29.

17. Out Of Time: Special Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A mediocre thriller, Out of Time suffers from too many predictable elements. It telegraphs many of its twists and fails to become anything more than average at best. Starring Denzel Washington. MGM, $27.98, 1/6/2004.

18. American Gangster: Unrated Extended Edition (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you want a mind-blowing expansion on its genre, American Gangster won’t impress you. The movie succeeds as something professional and engaging, but it’s not anything innovative or particularly creative. And that’s fine with me, as the flick is more than interesting enough to satisfy. Starring Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe. Universal, $29.98, 2/19/2

19. Man On Fire (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A dark tale, Man on Fire is the kind of film I normally like. However, the flick’s emphasis on style over substance seems extreme, and the distracting visuals make it difficult to take at times. It manifests occasional moments of interest but not many. Starring Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning. Fox, $29.98, 9/14/2004.

20. Inside Man (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Spike Lee “goes commercial” with Inside Man, and the results make me hope he does so again in the near future. The film crackles with energy and involves the viewer with its tight, tense narrative. Starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster. Universal, $29.98, 8/8/2006.
