11. Confessions Of A Shopaholic [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An absurd and pointless paean to consumerism wrapped up as a cutesy slapstick romantic comedy, Confessions of a Shopaholic flops Ė and flops badly. It wastes the talents of its lovely lead actor and a terrific supporting cast with terrible gags and an actively annoying main character ... Itís like someone tossed every romantic comedy clichť into a blende

12. Four Weddings And A Funeral [Blu-Ray] (1994)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Iíll never figure out why the Academy thought a film as slight as Four Weddings and Funeral deserved a Best Picture nomination, that doesnít mean I donít like the film. Thin as it may be, it offers enough charm and wit to become an engaging experience. The Blu-ray gives us a good roster of supplements but suffers from erratic Ė and generally medioc

The movie packed enough action and drama to keep me interested, but it lacked a certain spark that would have made it more memorable. Starring Tom Cruise, Jon Voight. Paramount, $29.98, 11/17/1998.

18. Mission: Impossible - Special Collector's Edition (1996)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I like Mission: Impossible enough to give it a subdued recommendation. Fans who own the old disc will probably want to upgrade as well. The audio remains the same on both releases, and the new DVDís supplements arenít good enough to merit the repurchase, but the 2006 discís picture quality marks a significant enough improvement to make the set worthwhile

19. Gosford Park [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I doubt Iíll ever be a real fan of Robert Altmanís work, Gosford Park fares well. The movie provides an unusually dispassionate take on the murder mystery genre and offers a clever and intriguing experience. Starring Maggie Smith, Emily Watson. Arrow, $34.95, 11/27/2018.
