31. The Manchurian Candidate: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1962)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although many movies seem dated within months of their release, 1962’s The Manchurian Candidate has barely aged a day over the last five decades. It remains a taut and tense piece that manages to be eerie and thrilling throughout its entire running time. Starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey. Criterion, $39.95, 3/15/2016.

35. The Manchurian Candidate: Special Edition (1962)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I definitely recommend this new version of Candidate. Folks who don’t own the old release can’t go wrong with this one, as the movie’s a keeper and the DVD seems positive. 36. Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow: Special Collector's Edition (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Sky Captain does enough well to create a sporadically enjoyable adventure, and it certainly stretches movie technology. The flick presents an exquisite visual experience and occasionally knocks out some exciting action bits. Unfortunately, it lacks a lively story or interesting characters. This means the film gets points for ambition but lacks the consis
