81. The Untouchables [Blu-Ray] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Untouchables doesnít always fire on all cylinders, but it provides a generally exciting and well-executed affair. The Blu-ray provides generally good picture, audio and bonus materials, though the visuals lack the ďfilm-likeĒ appearance Iíd expect. Still, this is the best version of the film Iíve seen on home video, even if it could/should be better.

82. Backdraft [Blu-Ray] (1991)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With 1991ís Backdraft, we get yet another Ron Howard movie neutered by the directorís relentless mediocrity. Like most of his flicks, Backdraft maintains a stalwart sense of professionalism but it fails to ever become anything more involving. Starring Kurt Russell, William Baldwin. Universal, $14.98, 1/4/2011.

83. Machete (2010)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Machete came from unusual origins and occasionally offers over the top action fun. However, it also tends to be heavy-handed in its political content and it runs too long, factors that harm its overall effectiveness. The DVD provides generally good picture, excellent audio and a smattering of minor supplements. This isnít a bad flick, but itís not consis

84. Limitless (2011) [Blu-Ray]
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: How can a movie called Limitless seem so consistently limited? The film comes with a cool plot notion but doesnít develop it beyond some stale story beats. This results in a project with occasional thrills but not enough to make it a winner. The Blu-ray delivers very good picture and audio along with a decent set of supplements. The movie offers intermit

85. Brazil: Criterion Collection (2006 Single-Disc Edition) (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: At the risk of sounding too exuberant, discovering Brazil after all this time makes me feel like I've found some sort of lost treasure. This is a film that can be watched and rewatched and retain most of its appeal; additional viewings are sure to reveal hidden nuances. Brazil is the sort of movie that you tout to all your friends, and which you then scr

86. Once Upon a Time in America [Blu-Ray] (1984)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Not much appreciated in its day, Once Upon a Time In America has garnered much higher status in the years since then. Personally, I think the movie has its moments and seems generally interesting, but it falls far short of honest greatness. The Blu-ray presents mostly solid picture quality along with mediocre audio and a modest package of supplements hig
