31. Predator [4K UHD] (1987)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I found Predator to be a somewhat lackluster but decent action piece. It never quite lives up to its potential, but it provides enough solid adventure to deserve a look. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers. Fox, $24.99, 8/7/2018.

32. Kill Bill: Volume Two (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After a wild tale of violence in the first film, we don’t get much of the same in Kill Bill Volume 2. That will disappoint some, but it ends up making the story richer and with greater depth. Though Bill 2 lacks the “in your face” energy of the initial entry, it compensates with emotion and humanity. Starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine. Miramax, $29.99

33. Night Of The Living Dead: Criterion Collection [Blu-Ray] (1968)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite many amateurish elements, Night of the Living Dead holds up well after 50 years. It succeeds as a horror movie in spite of its problems and remains arguably the best example of its genre. Written & Directed by George A. Romero. Criterion, $39.95, 2/13/2018.

35. Black Dynamite [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it might seem redundant and pointless to parody a genre as ridiculous as blaxploitation, Black Dynamite nonetheless offers reasonable entertainment. It pokes affectionate fun at its predecessors and manages just enough laughs to keep us with it. The Blu-ray provides pretty positive picture and audio along with a fairly satisfying set of supplements

36. Jaws [4K UHD] (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 45 years, Jaws remains one of the all-time great films. Tight, briskly-paced and fully engrossing, it deserves its status as a classic. Starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss. Universal, $34.98, 6/2/2020.

37. Clerks II [Blu-Ray] (2006)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: An awkward combination of broad gross-out material and sappy sentimentality, Clerks II fails to live up to its predecessor. Though better produced in every way, it’s not 1/10th as clever or involving as the original, especially when it becomes way too melodramatic and like a soap opera. Starring Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson. Weinstein Company, $14.97,

39. Death Proof: Unrated Special Edition [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While Quentin Tarantino has always worn his 'B'-movie influences on his sleeve, Death Proof digs deep into those roots – with pretty good success. I wouldn’t say it matches up to its better work, but it entertains and creates a fun homage. Starring Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson. Weinstein Company, $19.95, 12/16/2008.

40. The Mask of Zorro [Blu-Ray] (1998)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Mask of Zorro isn’t a classic film, but I felt it provided a fun and exciting affair. It benefited from good acting and some solid action pieces that helped compensate for a mildly generic quality. The Blu-ray offers very strong picture and sound, and it adds a smattering of decent supplements crowned by an excellent audio commentary. Starring Antoni
